Welcome
I have been gigging my kemper for over a year now and play Rockabilly,Blues,Country
you'll love it -although.....a delay in front of the amp would be nice -
Yup saw this on Facebook at the weekend ..have sent a request for his profiles lol
-
'Schlep' a 12 String ...they're cheap and light enough ...too offset the misery tell your bass player the song really needs to be played on a 12 string bass as well
...in truth the only other options (apart from those by previous posters) are things like the Roland VG or Line 6 guitars ....both of which do a passable job .....I ended up taking a 12 string out (a Dano) nothing sounds like a real 12 string ... -
Basic programming of the FCB 1010 is not too complex but for 16eu ...it really is worth putting an Uno4Kemper chip in .

Oooh great ...thank you ! Will do :))
-
Aw shucks I ordered the fuzz pack a few days earlier :-/
Nice sounds though -
Here you go ...a 'live ' in studio vid ..I'm using a n acoustic in the first one ..

then in this one I'm the slide ..obviously

I use a lunchbox straight into the PA and FCB 1010 works great ...

I didn't get a loyalty code this time ( I own a lot of bundles) ...but still bought some singles and am happy to do so ...£5 for a Freidman ...seems pretty cheap to me
-
All good stuff ...but still no delay stomp prior to the amp
-
weird tone ??! ....rockabilly and some of the early U2/Radiohead stuff have delay Before the amp another reason why I would like the promised 'movable delay ' slot to materialise ...
-
Have a look at the pack from Sonic Underground ...I use their Ampeg profiles (and will be getting the rest of their bass stuff in the NY) for that bright slightly gritty sound and a clean tone to ...as stated by the previous poster though ...new(or at least newish) strings and a good solid pick attack are essential ...

I'm not near my computer but when I am I'll upload a tone I use in my 'Rockabilly' style band ...using a Fender Supersonic 22 ....
I personally feel that to get the 'real deal' we need a stomp delay and a spring reverb ...however Gundys' Setzer profile is VERY good ...the other thing is (obviously) make sure you use something with single coils / filtertrons ..
Yeeeeehaw

I use an Acoustic with LR baggs in it all the time through my KPA ..I think the profile I ended up using most was of a Marshall acoustic amp ..from soundside.de ?
I love it ...and the fact that I can plug in an electric and a Bass VI into the same Kpa load a patch and off I go no extra Di's,different amps, cables ... -
Still waiting the simple mono delay stomp ...
that can be placed BEFORE the amp surely more useful than a vinyl stop ?? -
Just bought haven't even bothered listening to them first such is my faith in these ...
the last three packs were all spot on. And not cluttered with unusable (imo) profiles .
nice work sir -
Please can I have the option to have delay ..before the amp stack .. ASAP thanks
-
+1 ...although I have started to rename some of my presets with their possible style at the beginning .
-
Bought these and your Uberschall ones ...nice work Thanks
