Hi Chris, as Don says above try profiling your amp ...bear in mind that you hear the whole chain in a profile (amp/speaker/mic/preamp if used) so it will sound the same as your amp would mic’d and played through the control room monitors or PA ...
I too have for 30 odd years and have played through many many great amps ...the kemper is the best yet
Regarding your Maz 18 ...Tone Junkie did a good take on it and there are the official DR Z pack...personally when I’m doing Rockabilly or Jump Swing style I use a 60’s Bassman profile with tape echo and spring reverb before the amp section ...for country I use a Matchless or Fender twin profile with a comp and slap delay/reverb to taste ....
Try playing with the definition control as well
Hope you find what you’re looking for

Yup bought ...and briefly played ...great stuff so far

Ibot39 Paul would sound great through a cigarette packet amp...he only use one basic setting in Amplitube iirc ...great guy...outstanding player ...
Looking forwards to try Amplitube 5 though .

Like others in the UK (and elsewhere) I have played one (outdoor two weeks ago..) gig since March 23rd
Thankfully I have managed to do some online teaching and remote recording and mixing ...gigs wise I don’t see anything changing soon although live music venues are allowed to put ‘socially distant’ (ie financially unviable..) gigs on now ...

THANKS Joe 18 ..you just saved me from a Nightmare gig !!! had exactly the same problem for no reason ??
-
I love standard tuning for slide ...I know where all my notes are ...you can play minor triads on the top 3 strings ....open G on the middle 3 (or G6 on the top 4 ..) really versatile

I have a gaming chair that I bought from Argos in the UK it’s great foldable arms, quiet, comfortable ...
-
Ha typical ...I just bought it the other day ..sadly haven’t had a chance to try it yet will report back when I get a mo’

Great albums ....I think John used JCM800’s with a Tele ? With a bit of chorus ...? Most of the recorded stuff is obviously double tracked
-
I’ve used an LR Baggs M1 which was great but I upgraded to the LR Baggs Anthem which is brilliant ...I also have a Parker P38 and a custom built Brian Eastwood guitar both with piezo bridges ...not wuite as good as a real acoustic but passable in a ‘band mix’
All were played through various profiles from the Bert M acoustic pack .
-
If I’m honest I’ve been disappointed with every ‘official’ profile pack that I’ve tried Dr Z packs 1&2 ,Benson and Victory compared to other vendors version ....I haven’t tried the Fortin ones though .

Hi and welcome to the wonderful world of Kemper
-
Yep the aforementioned Morgan AC20 is a great low to mid crunch tone used it for years until Tone Junkie etc started doing their thang ....still a great profile even now
-
I find an old bassman profile of some kind with a Tape echo and spring reverb in the stomp section will get you there ....using low output pickups helps to
-
Hmmm I have just got hold of IK multu’s Leslies ...would they work ??
-
They seem to be working on a CLA project possibly another producer pack ?
-
Yep another ‘couldn’t pass up on the deal’ post ...some lovely Marshall tones to be had .
