Looks great !
What is the guitar ? (the 6 strings)
I'm looking for a nice cutaway dreadnought with pickup, and have a hard time deciding...

And they have two of them (4:30)
-
And there is another one on the Bias Head, and one on the Yamaha THR.
I don't think Kemper has anything to fear about these products and is better off leaving those threads opened, as these will demonstrate the superiority of the Kemper -
Interestingly, 2016 models do not have GForce tuners anymore and they have a lubricated graphtech (classic) nut.

I think it sounds great. Yamaha makes great stuff to. I cant wait for the in depth video from Andertons, i think i see you can work on it in a GUI?

One should make a tool that rename the amp names in profiles automatically, with the help of a matching list.
This matching list would be maintained by the community (or the community of profile makers )
Users would rename their profiles only locally : nobody can complain. -
Again, I trust my ears and the PEQ improves it a lot. I don't hear the annoying extra oomph on some notes like the low G# in my case.

THRC212 = Eminence Legend 1218 + Eminence The Tonker

Not FR at all. But they may post EQ the IR itself to match the speaker response. -
Well I have already a Behringer DEQ2496 to fix these and it works quite well, of course it's still not perfect but I can hear a huge improvement.
The right frequencies are easy to find , there are softwares that compute them from the room dimensions. And it's amazing to see how spot on they are
You're right about the number of band required, on my DEQ2496 I entered 8 bands, but even with only 2-3 of the more prominent frequencies it should be ok.The KPA already contains the PEQ algorythms, I guess the output section could include them too, but I don't know how hard it would hit on the DSP.
It's up the the KPA team to see if they want to offer us this feature. I would resell my DEQ2496 so yes to me it means saved €'s, and gives more value to my KPA -
But, TBH, I don't agree with the idea that the Profiler should be empowered in its functions in order to take care of\fix other hardware's lacks. If you need a flat response, you should IMO buy flat monitors.OK I have flat monitors. But then, as many of us, I'm subject to room acoustics. There are standing waves with resonant frequencies, especially in the low end.
I would like to kill them with the help of a PEQ. And it should be in the output section since it applies to a room, not a profile. So +1 for that feature

You misunderstand Andy's statement - look here:

Pictures, prices and video at http://www.musicradar.com/news…h-guitar-amp-heads-626972
The THR100HD and THR100H are available now for £755 and £564 respectively, while the THR212C and THR112C are £477 and £286.
Definetely not for me. Good luck Yamaha ! -
a poweramp for the KPA.
It doesn't appear to have Aux IN (a miss if you ask me). Still you should be able to use the Loop return.

There it is: Yamaha THR100 , a modeling...head that comes in two versions, single or dual head. And there are THR112 / THR212 cabs too.

Very different than the THR10/5. Not for me, I like the compact size of the 10, and I don't need 25/100W for my bedroom use.

It looks like a different beast this time

Supposedly the next version of their THR products. I must confess i'm using one to take with me on holidays. Nothing to compare with KPA but nice little useful amp.
Now with the L6 helix in their line of products, they have a choice of algorythms to use -
I also had tuning problems with my Gibson's until I bought this:
http://www.stringstretcha.com/
and this:
http://www.thomann.de/gb/ghs_graphit_all_guitar_lube.htmPlus at the begining of a session, I always do a huge bend on each of the six strings before tuning them.

The Trio keeps three (song)parts in memory, that's all.And you can't even rely on it, because parts 2 & 3 behave differently, like more dynamic, because they are supposed to be the chorus parts.
It's better to start over at every new song.
There are a lot of possible new features for a nice V2 in the future !Manual says:
"The TRIO's three parts are ideal for playing songs with a verse, chorus, and bridge. The styles for Part 1 have lower
intensities and work well for song verses. Part 2 styles are higher in intensity and are optimized for song choruses.
Part 3 uses intermediate intensities that are variations of the Part 2 drum patterns and work well for song bridges." -
Hi all
would it be possible to get a stereo out signal from "TRIO". When I look at it is seems to be mono only?
Yes, via the headphones output (only).
