Besides all this, just one Question: Is it correct that the position of the soft-switch "Kemper-Kone" isn't stored in an Output-Preset, or is it a bug?

For me your Solutions seem Pretty costly for avoiding a Problem which appears and disappears in different OS-Versions.
Besides this: disconnecting RM and switching slots and effects by the remote would solve the initial Problem (engaged effect stays active) much easier.
For me it's sometimes hard to understand, why such a highly develloped piece of Equipment lacks Basic functions in usage

I've got my 30 to 40 songs organised in Performances.We often Play Songs randomly out of a predefined order. Fast Scrolling through Performances via the remote`s up and down switches is nearly impossible since the latency is too high. Switching from f.e. Performance 5 to 25 cannot be managed (for me) between songs while talking to the audience. After each songend you have to go to the profiler and choose the desired performance via the type-knob and load it up. That's pretty annoying. So I place my Laptop where I can reach it from my microphone-place and choose the Performance via RM. The Problem now is my Initial complaint of this thread (see above), because the behavior is "slightly" different .
The other case is during our rehearsals, where I (still) tweak and optimize my sounds between Songs. This is much more efficient via RM than via the Profiler-Menues. Also here the Problem with activating effect-slots occurs.
In the last but second OS-Version the Problem was also evident, in the last OS-Version the wrong behavior was solved, in the current OS-Version it is evident again. That's what I resist to understand.

It's a No-Go for Live-users who need the remote and also RM connected to the profiler

loading a Slot in Performance mode, then activate an effect via the remote, push Slot again ---> the effect remains activated, even stored in the performance
This is the same bug as in a former RM-Version.

Ich werde bei Clubgigs mit dem Profiler auf mein Kabinett definitiv nicht mehr verzichten, dafür klingt das "zu echt" und zu geil. Es liegt aber wohl daran, dass ich einer von den "old School"-Usern bin, der sich nicht vollständig vom "amp-in-the-room"-Sound hat lösen können.
Bei großen Bühnen werde ich für den Monitor-Sound aber nach wie vor meine DXR10 benutzen, da komme ich auf jeden Fall auch super mit klar.

That's what I mean, when I say "eqal". Though when comparing both, it takes a second to switch the Profiler from Imprint to Cab-off and to Change the Speaker-Connection (via A/B-Box).
Yes I'm satisfied, though I prefer the Goodman-Imprint. So it will be interesting to hear this Imprint, when I had installed a Kone into the Thiele-Cab

Does it sound just louder... or also fuller. Ioudness can be compensate with a few decibels more on Kemper Kabinet or perhaps not. Thanks for answer and Best Regards
No, not fuller, just louder. I had expected fuller because of the bass-reflex-tunnel of the Thiele but I really would say: Just louder.
PS: … and I didn't activate the bass-boost-button in the Output-section

Yesterday I had the Chance to compare the Kemper-Kabinett with EVM 12L-Imprint to the original EVM installed in a 1x12" Mesa Boogie Thiele Cab.
The Kemper-Kabinett was rather convincing , since the Sound was nearly 100% identical.
The difference is the Efficiency of the Thiele-Cab, it sounded louder than the Kabinett.
Next month I'm goingt to try a Kemper-Kone in the Thiele-Cab, just to verify this Impression.

And the PROFILER always indicates the OS version currently installed plus the OS version on the stick, before you confirm an update.
I've got a Pretty bunch of sticks (and the needed one never is in the near), and also I often don't know the current OS-Version number by heart.
If it wasn't a great issue IT-wise, it would be a flick of a switch for the KPA-Team

I'd like to see the OS-Version-number coded in the kaos-filename.
I'm in Need to drive different OS-versions in my two Profilers, because one of them is linked to a Win7-computer, so I can't run the current OS-Versions.
for update-reasons I normally use USB-sticks because one profiler is in our rehearsal-room the other at home. After a while (of confusion) I cannot see which OS-Version is on which USB-Stick.
An indication in the OS-filename would help much !!

Die 600W-Nennleistung der Endstufe ist an der Last 8-16 Ohm wirksam, dementsprechend muss das bei der Leistungsangabe der Endstufe so angegeben sein. An 4 Ohm kann die abgegebene Leistung aber höher sein. Da die Leistungselektronik der Endstufe dann aber abriegelt (um Schäden zu vermeiden) wäre es Quatsch die "nicht zulässige" Last als Leistungsdate mit anzugeben.

Es ist richtig, das Kemper-Kabinett und der Kone konterkarieren die bisher so vehement proklamierte FRFR-Philosophie "Watcha hear ist what the crowd gets".
Ich habe mich auch in den nunmehr fast 7 Jahren Profiler-Nutzung an den Sound und die Haptik meiner Profile über meinen DXR10-Monitor auf der Live-Bühne gewöhnt.
Meistens mischen wir uns auch über unsere P.A. selber ab (wir spielen überwiegend Clubs mit 100 - 200 Leuten) und so wusste ich nach dem soundcheck auch immer was so in Etwa den Leuten auf die Ohren kommt (wir sind ein typisches Bluesrock-Trio - also Gitarre-Bass-Schlagzeug). Durch dieses Konzept habe ich das typische Gitarristen-Problem (zu laut) auch in den Griff bekommen und wusste dass ich trotz geringer Lautstärke trotzdem Etwa MEINEN zumindest aber nen guten Sound habe.
Aber wenn ich bei gelegentlichen Blues-Sessions (nicht bei den Gigs meiner Band) meinen kleinen TwoRock-Kofferamp nebst Mini-Stressbrett mitgenommen habe, hatte ich trotz allem immer das Gefühl, das da was anders ist. Gar nicht mal, dass das besser klingen würde - eher im Gegenteil (ich bin gute 1,90 und der Amp steht bei so Sessions hinter dir auf dem Boden) - es hört sich also immer etwas leiser und mittig an, weil man ja nicht im Beam steht. Während eine DXR10 dich von vorn beschallt und dabei sehr viel differenzierter klingt.
Aber das Gefühl zwischen Fingern und dem Ton das habe ich dabei immer anders als mit einem echten Amp empfunden. Das ist für mich das, was man als "amp-in-the-room" bezeichnet. "Flatternde Hosenbeine" meine ich dabei überhaupt nicht, dazu spiele ich eigentlich viel zu leise.
Und dieses feeling (des "real Deal") habe ich jetzt definitiv wieder, wenn ich das Kabinett mit einem Imprint hinter mich stelle und spiele. Es fühlt sich an, als ob da ein Amp steht. Ich kann's nicht besser erklären (höchstens lauter).
Das Einzige was für mich noch immer anders klingt, ist, wenn ich während des Spielens lauter stelle. Da reagiert das Kabinett noch anders als mein Amp. Man muss das dann mit dem Directivity-Regler etwas nachregeln. Funktioniert aber.

Sehr schön... Kone heute geliefert bekommen, wird heute Abend in eine Palmer 1x12 Box eingebaut.... bin schon gespannt nach all den positiven Meinungen auf Youtube....
Wär nett, wenn Du uns Deine Eindrücke mal schilderst. Ich bin in der Überlegung mir einen Kone für meine Mesa-Boogie-Thiele 1x12" zu besorgen, um die dann mit dem Kabinett zu vergleichen.

I checked MBritt-, Tonejunkie-, Meulendijk- profiles and some of my own. Together with the Parameters "Bass Boost" and "Directivity" all of them are more than versatile.

Ist ja ziemlich interessant hier zu lesen, wie man das ganze Thema theoretisieren kann. Ich kann nur sagen: AUSPROBIEREN !!!
Ich habe auch in den 7 Jahren, in denen ich meine Profiler benutze, eine ganze Menge über Sounds und Fletcher-Munson und lautstärkeabhängiges EQing gelernt. Ich habe dementsprechend auch nicht allzuviel vom Kabinet erwartet.
Aber was ich vorgestern erlebt habe, als mein Kabinet ankam, hat mich einfach umgehauen.
Der Profiler mit Kabinet simuliert keinen Amp mehr , Das IST ein Amp !!!
Ich mache seit 40 Jahren Musik und habe außer einigen Marshalls so ziemlich alles schon gespielt und das meiste zeitweise auch besessen (geblieben sind nur zwei TwoRock-Amps), mein Paradigma ist also ziemlich gefestigt.
Ich habe z.B. über 10 Jahre einen originalen 66er Deluxe-Reverb mit Oxford-Speaker gehabt und live auch (zusammen mit einer Leslie-Box) immer gespielt. Das war sozusagen mein Signature-Ton. Seit ich dann vorgestern mal das 62-erDeluxe-Profil mit dem Oxford-Imprint geladen habe und etwas lauter hier im Homestudio gespielt habe, ist mein Grinsen nicht mehr wegzukriegen. Das ist genau mein Sound von damals.
Ich habe somit meine letzte Lektion im Vergleich "Amp-in-the-room" und "miced-amp" bekommen. Alles ist jetzt auf einmal da, die Haptik, die Dynamik beim Hybrid-Picking, das Geschmeidige im Ton. Ich bin restlos begeistert.
Bisher habe ich das übliche Besteck zusammen mit dem Profiler eingesetzt (Yamaha DXR10 und FoH: DSR18/12 und manchmal ne Mesa-BoogieThiele-Monitor-Box) und war glaube ich ziemlich dicht dran am Original. Aber mir hat immer etwas die Rückmeldung von meinen Fingern zu dem was ich gehört habe gefehlt. Ich mache überwiegend low-gain-music (Blooze, Old-school-Rock, Reggae und so'n Zeug) und kann nicht beurteilen wie es bei härteren Gangarten aussieht. Aber für mich und unsere Musik ist das Thema jetzt endgültig durch. Jetzt kommt wieder die Zeit, wo ich eine Box zum Gig mitnehme und zwar DAS KEMPER-KABINET.
Ich hoffe die Aktiv-Version kommt irgendwann auch noch, ich glaube dann kaufe ich auch noch den dritten Profiler (dann als Stage-Version - für den "Gig zwischendurch").

My Kabinet arrived yesterday and though I know, that Kemper's inventions and amendments are really worthy and innovative I didn't expect this huge improvement.

I've been playing for forty years and owned a pretty large amount of amps , speakers and cabinets and still own two of my favorite Guitar Amps (Two Rocks), and I think I can judge, how an amp has to sound in the room.
Since yesterday I now understand the whole discussion about "Amp-in-the-room" vs. "miked-amp-sound".
Since I bought my first Profiler in 2014 I made a lot of profiles of my TwoRocks and tweaking those for my monitor-Sound (Yamaha DXR10) and FoH (Yamaha DSR18 and DSR12) and I was pretty close to the originals.
But now with the Kabinet IT IS THE ORIGINAL with all the chime, haptic feeling and dynamic-response of the real thang.
I never would have expected this. Even the 10 Inch Imprints of the Jensens remind me to my 66-Vibrolux and the Oxford-Imprint combined with the 62 Deluxe profile ARE my 66-Deluxe-Reverb as I remember.
This Kabinet will be the enemy of all FoH-technicians, because loud-stages will come back !!!!!
