the thing I don't have is a hook up to the main outputs to a monitoring system. Is this why I don't hear the mic? If this is the case, can I just use headphones to monitor? again I checked the mic and cable. I must be missing something but I have gone over the manual. Looking for some videos to show how to do this? thanks for the time on this I must bemissing something?

There's no sound from the mic? adjusting the return level doesn't change anything? I have the mic plugged into return input using an xlr cable.

Sorry guys, need help. it seems like the KPA is profiling itself? The mic doesn't seem to make any difference in the sound. I changed mic and cable and rebooted but, even talking into the mic makes no sound. I'm using an sm58 straight into the back of the kemper with xlr cable (no preamp or mixer) any idea what I'm messing up? thanks

kpa needs some better description in the manual IMHO. I'm finding my way just by trial and error and using my ears. Still love this little box but it gets frustrating sometimes.

Shouldn't it come with the bag from kemper? I love the kemper guys but I think we should get the case with it, when we bought it. Kemper should at least offer the bag at a better price IMHO

As a new Kpa owner this is the hardest and most daunting task. I went through hundreds of profiles and I am still learning how to use the machine. My goal is a few wow rigs too. This will take me months, maybe longer.

it says tone stack then you turn the browse knob and it brings up a list with the heading on top of the list says (browse tone stack preset 1 of 17) The first one on the list says -FAN 100A
then Fan 100B and so on to C and then starts MARS SB 100A -c then Rasmus and and steave and last Voice. I thought Fan would be Fender and Mars was for Marshall and maybe voice could be Vox but not sure. -
I'm still confused?
-
Is that why they are named fan for fender?

Where do I turn on this feature? In stomp box? Thanks

Don't see anything in the manual. ..??

Yea like poor filter caps sound thing right? I also upgraded the firmware to non beta

yea I thought it might be frett buzz to but it like a seperate kind of weird sound that starts. So you hear this scifi kind of sound following the bending note but not musical at all. I'm on software public beta 2.1.0.8750B is this the latest ? Thanks for the time on this stuff

I held down the eq button and stumbled on to different eq settings. Are these set eq shapes to use with whatever amps?
-
I thought everything was off but have to check that. Thanks

yea I was thinking about studio speakers. I love the sound thru my guitar cab but, can't use the cabs. Like to hear what difference, that makes. Don't need it so, wanted to not spend a lot of cash. Thanks for the info I'll look into this stuff.
what about this ? http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/VS1220F.aspx

$100 to $200

have the power head KPA into a guitar cab. Sounds great but want to be able to use cab sims now. Is there an inexpensive one to use in the house? (gigging with guitar cab)

this only happens on high gain amp rigs and above the 12th fret on the high E and B string. When I bend notes there, you hear the note bend but, I also hear another weird (not musical sound) like a scifi sound effect sound. Anyone else have this problem?
not a biggie just curious

yea it looks like I'll get the chip and Behringer FCB1010. I did e-mail kemper and they responded that they couldn't say anything about it.
