I don't see any profiles named Liquid Leads or Juicy Chunks by KB (or anybody actually) in the RE.
That's because they're gone.
I just happen to have them on my KPA - "Juicy Leads" and "Liquid Leads" (Soldano profiles) are nearly identical. I just played them side-by-side.
Something not adding up here.

Hello Ballen, thanks to the amazing support of my pals of this forum, I could keep my Kemper ! Thank you very much to you and to all the other members of this forum. life is safer now
That's great to hear! Your profiles are some of my favorites - far & away! As a matter of fact, I'm using the MkIIC+ JP2 right now! Glad things have worked out for ya!
-
The ones you put up are pretty good! Definitely "present" - in your face for sure! Well done!
-
KB - love the Triax profiles! Awesome! Thanks!
-
Huge thanks for this Chris! The XTC modern profiles are spot on with the 20th I was borrowing. Really what I was looking for all along!
Awesome work!
Good to hear! The XTC is one amp I've never had the pleasure of playing through in person, so it was purely a guess on my part as to what people might like. I was going for something Plexi-ish, a bit more gain & saturation, but still articulate.

Solid MarkIIc+ and MarkIV profiles !!
Ha! Thanks! And ironically enough, I've been using your MkIIc profiles (JP mainly) for about the last week or so! Nice work!

Again, thanks for the kudos, guys! It was truly my pleasure. I have gotten just as well as I have given. I'm only a little bit disappointed that I sold my Axe, mainly in that I am not able to make profiles of amps for people that I otherwise would not have used myself!
I may try out a few other modelers and see if I can add some "magic" to those and maybe post up a few others. We'll see how it goes...

I sold mine too. Sorry! But as mentioned, you shouldn't run into issues if you shut off the "cab" option in your stack.

Here's most of my current quiver:

Chris, could you make a zipped file from all the Axe rigs and put them on dropbox like some others did. I would like to check all
ThanksThis was my first blind attempt at doing this - not sure if it'll work or not, but here you go:

Sounds GREAT! Love the TS with mic mixes - well done!

One other thing I should mention -- I dialed all of these models in with FRFR monitors, and they were pointed directly up at me (I was sitting between two 12" w/horns Alto TS112a's), so the sound I was hearing was very HONEST. The sound you hear is probably not the same as you would hear using a guitar cab or something beaming straight out rather than at your ears. Just something to keep in mind.

This just popped up on my feed, so i figured i'll take the chance to thank you again. Been using them a lot lately, live and now for a couple of studio productions.
The Splawns and Friedmans were exactly what i was looking for, the Trainwreck is an awesome surprise and it would appear we have a similar taste in sound, because i almost didn't have to tweak anything (a little brightening up for some, but nothing major).Only bummer is, no Fryette profiles... But that's whining
Awesome! Glad you like them!
The Splawn & Friedman models are a couple of my mains too! The XTC Red Modern kinda falls into that world as well. Don't overlook the JMP-1 either. I did profile them all pretty flat, so brightening makes a lot of difference for sure. in most cases, I profiled them all with the Presence no more than 50% - usually less. I find it easier to dial IN more brightness to the tone than to dial it OUT.
The Fryette models were very "nondescript" -- kinda boring, really, so I never got any mileage with them. There are a couple VHT Pitbull profile on the Exchange though that I really dig, and are certainly more in my wheelhouse than the Fractal models were. I just switch out the cabs to taste.

thanks for this it is like having an axe fx for the price of a kemper
Yeah...kinda... Or getting an Axe for free with the purchase of your Kemper!
Have fun! I'm probably going to do some refining over the coming weeks, adding some very simple effects that I use, and then posting a few more based on the profiles I put on the Exchange already. Fun stuff!
-
I'm a recovering nut. BUT...I had the foresight to profile all my favorites from the AxeFx 2 (v14), and so in essence, even though I only have a Kemper, I still "have" an AxeFx!
Both are terrific units. I'll never take anything away from either. It's a WONDERFUL time to be a guitar player!

Search for Chris O, you will find all profiles...
Cheers
bullizYEP - and all the profiles begin with "FAS".

Sorry if I missed this, but which firmware version? v15?
I don't know how you missed it...it was in the initial post! For asking that, you don't get to play any more.
That said, I don't know if there would be enough "difference" for the KPA to really recognize the subtle changes made from, for instance FW v13 to FW v14. One can arguably have a hard time with the Axe itself sitting in front of them!
To address one other thing -- I did not profile any Axe "presets". Everything that I profiled was something I put together from the ground up - just the amp as it "defaulted" & cab - I didn't change the bias settings, tubes, etc., I always shut off the mic sims, etc., so what you are getting is basically just the amp. There were a couple I added delay into after the fact, but that was KPA effects. -
Thx man , we now got an axe FX in our KPA
Yes! On sale...100% OFF!!

Chris, could you make a zipped file from all the Axe rigs and put them on dropbox like some others did. I would like to check all
ThanksIf I can figure out how to do it, of course! Got "directions" for me?
