The reviews on the other buttons weren't as good, and as a gigging/touring player, I wanted to be sure I had rock solid dependability. Plus, why buy the Rolls Royce of Modeling Amps and put cheap hubcaps on it when quality wheels are available?? You get what you pay for most of the time. Like, there are plenty of FREE rigs on the exchange, but some people are willing to pay for a very good commercial profile...

Here's a profile view in the light. I use the tallboys on Tuner, Bank Up and Down, and patch 5 which is usually my lead patch. All V1. Red for Tuner and Silver on Banks, Clear for the rest. -
Yes but they are V1 buttons on the remote.
Is it this you mentioned?http://barefootbuttons.com/product/v2-clear/

[Blocked Image: https://flic.kr/p/Veu2yq]I use Barefoot Buttons. The clear ones diffuse the light so they glow and are very visible.

Is the fretboard between 2nd - 12th frets on lower strings made of different color intentionally?
Ha Ha!! I suppose it could be used for self defense! I kind of took a risk and I'm hoping its durable enough. A lot of this guitar is shaped freehand. The different colored wood is in fact the natural wood color! Its Ziricote wood. The top is buckeye burl. I'm hoping to have her stage ready in a couple of weeks! Thanks for the nice comments!

Thank you! That was exactly right! I have the SpDIF in and out connected to the Digi 002 Running pro tools 7.4, and managed to record a DI and an effected track. I can't figure out the correct Pro Tools settings routing to play the DI track back thru the Kemper to actually reamp it. Anyone know or suggest a resource for that routing? Thanks again!
-
On my input screen, at the top left where the SPDIF check box should be, there is nothing. And my Reamp Sense is greyed out. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Thanks!
-
Its set to mod mono! Just set to Master Stereo, and back in business. Thank you guys very much!

I did go thru them. I didn't see anything that specified delay/reverb output...but I'm no expert.
-
Ok. I checked that, and they are not locked. When I pressed it and held it, all effects lights went dim, and when it reappeared the lock icon was on the delay. I pressed again to remove it. Still no delay.
-
I don't think I did anything! I added a few new profiles yesterday, and today, my reverb and delay do not effect the sound. I also did the new FW update, but I didn't notice the delays not working til today. I tried maxing them out, and several settings in between. They are not apparently in the signal chain. X and MOD both work in in the post effects chain. They show on and active. But they do not affect the sound in any patch. Am I missing something simple? Thanks!
-
What menu is the Rev/Delay parameter under? I only ask because I have a preset in which the reverb and delay do not effect the sound, regardless of settings. The X stomp works, and the preeffects all work, but reverb and delay don't. Thanks!

Its a versatility thing really. Run a DI and mic a cab. Blend them, or choose whats best for the room. And we are a 2 guitar band and the other guitarist uses cabs, I have to maintain some crowd facing stage volume. And our sound guys are very much into mics rather than DI, so I'll at least give it a go.
-
I can definitely see that. I do have a pair of full range speakers, but I'm going for light and simple. We are on in ear monitors, so the cab is just to be mic'd. One DI line and one mic is the goal. And all in live in road cases for quick set up and tear down.

Hi there! Just recieved my Kemper Profiler Power Rack a couple days ago, and so far I'm blown away! I'm in the process of learning the machine, but hope to have it integrated into my live rig by the end of the month. Im currently gigging the Digitech GSP 1101, and will most likely use it in the effects loop of the Kemper and as a midi controller with the Control 2 footswitch. I'm also deciding what 4x12 cab to use with it. Currently using B52 cabs, but have my eye on a Framus Dragon with greenbacks, A Marshall 1960 or a Boogie Recto Traditional.
I really had my eye on the Axe FX of course, but after a seeing a few people using them, i was not blown away! I know both devices are only as good as the guy writing the presets, but after I started looking closer at the Kemper it seemed like the learning curve was much easier. And there are a pile of GREAT tones in the thing already and on the exchange. The only issues I forsee are dialing it in with the band sonically, and controlling it effectively in a live application. Once I have a selection of tones ready, and have the switching configured, I can take it to the studio and play along with board mixes from the shows to dial it in fully. I am super excited about having all these great tones at my disposal! Any live advice/experience/input welcomed! Thanks!

The larger. You don't want to have to step over 5 to tap tempo!
