Note that the powered output is a different 1/4 in connection than the monitor out though the powered out is fed from the monitor out signal.

Changing the cab on the Triple direct profiles works really well with fr systems as well.

I remember I have also felt something similar when switching to the KPA, but measurements indicated that it was most likely not latency. Is it possible that somehow you are more used to the 'fake' more compressed, direct sound of other modeler products?
IMHO the KPA really well emulates the dynamics of real tube amps. And real tube amps can be a little more spongy, more late-blooming, more elastic feeling while playing than some of the other modeling products.PS: some latency issues were solved during early stages of FW development, so make sure you use the latest version.
This is a great thought! And I would bet could be the cause.
Many tube amps are "loose" feeling which could give the perception of latency. There a lot of thing that add to this like extended bass response and even the speakers used.
OP, if you put a green screem in one of the first 4 slots does this help?
-
Thx i will try them....Welcome. Hope they are useful. I always run an external boost in front of the Kemper such as od808x, there is a green scream in one of the slots that comes close to this.

Just ran some profiles of the line out on the Triple. Upped 11 of them to the exchange. Many are quite different but all are of modern channel 3 with various gain and eq.
-
I can say that my Triple Rectifier has a line out that is tapped after the power amp but before the speaker out. Profiled from this you could use it with a guitar cab with cabs on and come close to what you are looking for but you would still miss the power amp/speaker interaction.

Someone posted this video on the Rig-Talk forum and I found it interesting so I thought I would pass it on:

Is the Macbook booting in 64 bit mode? 10.7 defaults to 32bit. Has to be 64bit for the driver to work.
-
You would need 10.7 and unless you can get it to boot 64 bit the driver will not work. It can be done but it is not supported by Apple and could cause other problems.

I think they sound great. Very well balanced.

Agreed. These are killer!

The first was uploaded July 11th. All three should show if you search brunt.
Let me know how they work for you. Profiles are hit or miss for everyone as we all have different guitars with different pickups. The sample was recorded using a mahogany guitar with a Lundgren M6 bridge pickup.
-
Thanks. Hope they are useful. I'll update them at some point.

I have upped 3 versions of this profile to the Exchange.
Here is a sound sample of what you can expect.

Not sticking to what has been done in the past is the only way to move forward.
I try all options I can think of. Most do not provide good results but I try to better each profile from the one before it. For example I will do a profile that sounds decent and try subtle adjustments and reprofile, if the results are better I will go from there, if not I revert to the prior and adjust something else whether it be mic position, amp eq, eq in loop, mic distance, move amp in room, open door etc...one thing I have found is by placing a foam panel between the mic and amp you can cut out some high frequencies.

I dont remember having a problem with Team Viewer. You pinch the screen to scale the size.

Can you recommend such an app? Purchased an iPad Air yesterday and now I'm curious...

I experimented with the mic in many different positions. Since the room isnt as much of an issue far micing is a little different than with a dynamic or regular condenser mic. The PZM is very sensitize to placement.
