My backup guitar is complete. '79 Strat I bought and added a custom pickguard.

Have you tried the contour switch on the back of the headrush? It is designed to dampen some of the boominess, hopefully enough to make it bearable.
Other than that I would first advise to never tweak profiles with headphones and always do so at gig levels. After that? Buy a better speaker before you go adding an external EQ. I've had good luck with EV ZLX's at just $100 more. GL

Thats great news! I'm sick of resetting my stomp buttons everytime before a show.

All in my Kemper

The connector broke on my toaster too. I just thread it through the side of the top handle and pull it tight and it holds pretty good, rarely comes loose anymore and it's been like this for a year and many shows. Someday I'll fix it....

Any would be better than none I have a PL Plus C that works great (and I live in Floridas's lightning alley lol) tho the next one up would include a voltage readout which comes in handy at events with iffy power.

Also try turning the Clarity down, this will bring whatever gain the profile has more to the forefront.

Look in the Output section, there are separate volumes for Monitor out and Main out (as well as separate EQ's), both or either volume can be selected to link with the master volume knob. I select Monitor out to link with Master and then I can change monitor volumes without changing the Main out.
I send -20 to FOH and never had a complaint or a problem. I had heard -15 is the optimal setting but I'm good with whats worked for years now.

2- yes you can Lock just about anything (amps, cabs, effects, etc)
3-first thing to do when you get yours is to set the input correctly, mine even goes red occasionally and never a problem

Yay we're not losing our minds!!

We did a show last week and my singer ran an acoustic direct into the Alt Input (the signal bypasses the stack, etc, its made for use with mp3's etc) while I simultaneously used the front input like normal. It works fine. I even did this with a bass into the back one time.

Same here too balazs, I have to resist the urge to tweak my tone when I practice. What cuts through in a live band is nothing close to what I like my guitar to sound like lol.

Following. I've had the same issue on several occasions. I will save the Performance with the proper button assignments and then I see the buttons totally blank when I get to the next show....

As said before the further away from normal pitch you go the worse the lag gets and it's more pronounced with gain. I turn off all Mods and Delays as well, they seem to add to the occasional warble I hear.
-
I have different banks with different gain settings for each pickup not just for different guitars lol. Whatever you're comfortable doing the Kemper will get you there in multiple ways. I use the different bank approach to free up stomp slots.

Welcome to the forum! Search for the rmpacheco Morgan AC20 rig on the Rig Exchange.
THIS!!! I use it for just about everything live, it works especially well at edge of break up. Try adding an eq stomp and set some hi cut to get rid of the fizzle or try out different cabs. I'd only check the Clean Sense to make sure you aren't permanently in the red. Pure Cab is a matter of preference. I use mine at 10 and permanently on but many players, and alot of Profiles for that matter, hate it. Good luck!

I have a studio eq in D slot that adds some low mids for beef and I further adjust from time to time depending on the venue and how my sound sits. Not a fan of changing eq for solos, I like to cut through the mix the whole show not just during solos
-
Not near my Kemper at the moment. Here is a link to another thread dealing with the same issue, on page 2 there is a zip file of the No Boomy E A stomp.

The RC505 can be set up to send Midi program changes to control your Kemper but I think it will only work in Browse mode. Which isn't a big deal really, I used Browse mode for years until I bought a Remote. Hoow to set it all up is explained in their manual.

A ported speaker is gonna boom, it's what they do. Set up a Studio EQ stomp, the factory one called "No Boomy E A" would be a great place to start. Work with the EQ to find the offending frequencies and dial them down. Then set Hi and Lo cut to preference, think mine are set at around 80hz and 10k but not sure, Hope this helps.
