I didn't understand why they haven't included any fx.... but since the release of the positive grid bias distortion pedal, I've known why :).... the next one will probably be the positive grid chorus pedal, and so on

Cililab el34 is also very good. Plus they are merged.
+1 for the Cililab pack !
-
Hi,
Is it pack with new profiles or a compilation picked from your other packs ? -
This will be bug free. It's analog with no OS.
It's a on/off switch .. 0/1 ... sounds like more digital than analog
-
it makes sense that the all pitch detection coyld use the clean input signal. but in that case... it would be difficult to handle delay and latencies in a potential external loop
-
About the "not sounding as in a clip because double or quad tracking" ... it will be the same for all solutions. If you like this huge "in you face" sound that you listen in the kind of clips you mentionned (double or quad tracking), you never get this result with any solution (real amp included) with a mono track.... It will always sound as ... a mono track ...

+1 but still lit with the half intensity
-
....and so, do you think that is normal ????
Yes, it is normal, because i don't want 1 release every 2 years and that costs 50 times the actual price (test and validation is much more time consuming than "just" developping) ! -
The Kemper software will never be bug free ... NEVER ! Simply because there is no way to test every case in such complex software ... As software developper, i can say that "bug-free" softwares are rare and are only just a small piece of code far from what you can find in an application like the Kemper (Airbag controller in a car, medical appliance ...). The work to test and validate is not suitable at all for a product like the KPA
The KPA cost 1K5€ and then you expect that it has to be bug free ? professional software like CAO cost 10 times the price of the KPA and are full of bugs ... !Yes, i also see the changle log for every new release ... did you facing any bug they reported in their change log ? how much exactly ?

Can we expect some discount for the black friday ?

I know that VST bass doesn't replace the real thing, but this one ROCK !
http://amplesound.net/en/pro-pd.asp?id=18
This is a DI VST, so either use a bass amp sim, or just reamp it through your Kemper.
And finally, if you've written your bass line using guitar pro, the VST has a built-in guitar pro tab reader to take care of almost all articulations (slide, pull-off, hammer on, bend, ...)
Check the audio sample, it deserve a try

FREE SECTION !!!!!

@ckemper : I think the problem he encounters is simply the calibration data are reset when the pedal is unplugged ... that all ! The calibration process seems working well, but it is lost once unplugged.
-
Just as Paults has said ... try to record your guitar from your audio interface, without the kemper at all. Maybe this is something wrong with the KPA input interface.
So:
- record the guitar straight into your audio interface
- we will try to reamp this audio file through our KPA with the Djemass profiles
- eventually, try to do the same, but reamp through the SPDIF and see if you have some difference. -
I think this is not a particular effect they are talking about: this is the entire sound that sounds strange (awful ?)
The Track with the Boogie C2C+LEAD sounds with not enough gain at all, and like it only a part of the sound spectrum went into the amplifier section
-
The problem can be heard in the direct track, too.
Can you plug your guitar directly into the recording interface, and make a short recording? That will show if the guitar is the source of the issue, or the input signal path in the KPA.
I guess this is the ultimate test to do :
- recording a DI with your guitar directly in your audio interface.
- using this DI to reamp through the kemper with a specific profile.
- share the DI, so we can do the same (with the same profile), just to see if we are getting the same result out of our Kemper. -
Just got it ... sounds huge and brutalz !!!!!
Just a remark, your web site (download/update) still shows : 05/07/16 - 19 studio profiles added, yeah boi!
-
Sorry, but for me your first one was better and less harsh. If you like the 6505 as i do then hear also
Guido Bungenstock's profile. It is really good (and cheap) too.I don't want to be a pain in the a$$, but would it be possible to avoid referencing commercial profile in the free section ?
Otherwise' the second one' once the cab turned on, sounds really good.... I still have to try it with my favorite cabs
-
Only one unboosted ... but a great one ! directly in my favorites.... Looking forard to hearing the next ones ! Great job !
