Is there a fast way to import rigs that are saved in subfolders? Currently I open a subfolder, select all its rigs and import. But I'd like to just select the top folder and import all rigs that are saved in its subfolders, is this possible? the rigs that I want to import are .kipf files.

I've got Rig Manager version 3.1.62.
-
Yes, I think I upgraded in two steps. But I cannot surely remember.
Anyway - what can I do now?
-
yes, 'all rigs' is selected
-
I updated from version 5 I think to OS 8.0.6. Now there aren't any rigs any more. The browser does not show any rigs, and neither does the rig manager.

Thank you!

That's good news .
Thank you very much!

I'm planning to sell my Kemper Profiler Rack which is dating from 2015, because I need lots of money for moving to a new location. Now I wonder if there are any differences to the new ones. Are they identical in construction, with the same functions? It looks the same...
I do not want the buyer to be dissatisfied for any reason.

I cannot find the download for Rig Manager for Mac OS 12, only OS 13.6. Where are the legacy downloads?

is shipping inside EU ok? (there will be no customs)
Sorry for the late answer - yes, I will ship to EU countries, too. Shipping costs will be 21.99€.
The pillow is not included, because I will get serious trouble with my cat when I sell it...

Ooops. Ok, I see it now...
Turning down the aux in did solve the problem.IMO the aux in volume should be automatically set to zero when the loop stereo is inserted in a slot. I cannot imagine a scenario where I still want to hear the effects loop when the slot where it is inserted is disabled.
-
What is the aux volume? Or where can I turn it down?
I found this in the manual:
Both the RETURN and the ALTERNATIVE IN can also be used as auxiliary inputs. You could, for instance, use this feature to mix in music from your mp3 player and play along. You will find the corresponding mix controls in the Output/Master Section.
But I don't see any mix controls on the Output Volume page that refer to aux volume. -
I have loaded the loop stereo in slot "X". When I disable slot X, after 1/2 second, I can hear that the loop is active again, although the status is "off".
Is this a known bug, or may I be doing something wrong?
I have connected the Kemper send with the input of my SY-300 guitar synthesizer, and the main output of the SY-300 goes into the alternative input and the return input of the Kemper. It's pretty easy to tell when the signal of the SY-300 is on... -

Digital Igloo has explained the connection through spidf. IIRC you don't use the Helix' loop but its digital send and return.
Would you provide a link?
I can not find the member Digital Igloo on the Kemper Forum. -

I guess I'm not following why you're doing that. I thought we were speaking of connecting the Kemper to the Helix via S/PDIF for live applications. What does the Fireface 800 have to do with it?
guitar goes in fireface S/PDIF, some other signals ( E-drums, Vocals) go into the analog inputs of the fireface. Fireface output goes to the PA when we play live. So I use the S/PDIF both for live applications and for recording.
-
I connect the S/PDIF output of the Helix with the S/PDIF input of my fireface 800. Again a noiseless connection, and no unneccessary D/A conversion.

Use separate Send/Return blocks instead of the FX Loop block if you need individual level controls.
You can not set send 1 to "instrument" and return 1 to "line", can you?
Yes, an FX Loop with S/PDIF would be fine for inserting the kemper. It avoids the A/D conversion, and there is no noise.
But the you have no S/PDIF left as an output! We need a second S/PDIF output... -
.. This is how I have things connected:
- Guitar => Helix Guitar Input.
- Helix FX Loop Send => Kemper Alternative Input.
- Helix FX Loop Return => Kemper Left Main Out...
How do you set the levels? Helix FX Loop Send to instrument level and Return to line level?
It's bad that you can not set the levels of the send and return independently.
I have it connected like this, but this uses almost all Helix FX Loops:
- Guitar => Helix Guitar Input.
- Helix FX Loop Send 1 (instrument) => Kemper Front Input.
- Kemper Left Main Out => Helix FX Loop Return 3 (Line)
- Kemper Right Main Out => Helix FX Loop Return 4 (Line) -
1.3.5!
