heya! here's something I came up with recently.
theres a collection of riffs in this from a while ago... that I just expanded on and worked with.
check it out
7 string metal, with Kemper.
ive had my kemper for a while, but recently one of my fav modern metal guitarists - Josh Middleton - released his own kemper pack so i had to check it out.
the results im getting are great i think.
check out these clips and let me know what you think.
heya heres a cover i made of seasons in the abyss by slayer
i used the kerry king sig marshall profile from tonehammer with the 'slayer settings' preset, and tweaked it from there
let me know what you think!
Thanks alot for checking it out
i used a diezel herbert profile from tonehammer for the sum 41 cover
a diezel vh4 profile for the sylosis cover (cant remember where i got this one)
for the foo fighters cover i used a few but i think it was mostly a vox ac30 profile - possibly one that comes stock with the software
i hope that is actually a link to my youtube channel - still pretty new to youtube hahah...
anyway theres a few songs on there for you to check out.
using various profiles...
an ac30 on the foo fighters cover... and i think some mesa stuff too from memory..
have a listen and let me know what you think!
heres a cover i did of the sylosis song Leech
have a listen and let me know what you think mix wise or anything
used the kemper with a diezel vh4 profile
heres a vid i made using ezmix and ezdrummer from toontrack (and ofcourse my kemper, with a diezel vh4 profile)
bass guitar is a dry signal going through ezmix.
great plugins especially for convenience and the time saving aspect when writing music.
also only just recently started dabbling in making videos - so its nothing special. ^_^
have a listen and let me know what you think. :)
yeah i use the beyerdynamic dt770 pros aswell.
my monitors are mackie hr624 mkII.
they seem pretty sweet, but i get such a big difference between them and the headphones especially in the low end.
Yo thanks for the feedback
the song is from their album 'the awakening' i think...
by the way, do u guys mix with headphones or monitors? Ive read so many pros and cons of both - i try to use both but one always ends up sounding better than the other..
hey there! been a while since ive posted anything.. thought id share this cover i did recently.
my mixes have gotten alot better (particularly the mastering side of things) so im pretty happy with how this has turned out.
guitar is a gibson sg going through a kemper. running a tonehammer 5150 amp profile.
drums are superior drummer, i think it was metal foundry i ended up using.
bass is just bass direct into an ampeg plugin.
here are a couple of songs ive done recently with the kemper.
the profile im using is of a diezel VH4 for the heavy sound. lots of bass and balls.
for the drums ive used superior drummer.
i also did all the vocals myself.
have a listen and enjoy
feel free to comment on any way i could improve my mix or writing.
I didnt record theguitars dry signal.. Just straight through the kemper.. I can maybe export the midi information i created for the drums. Ill try.
Yeah recorded in my bedroom
What do you mean by share multitrack?
its by choptones i believe.
hey guys im back with another cover.
this time people = shit by slipknot.
drums are programmed with superior drummer/metal machine
instruments was a gibson SG tuned down to Drop B through a kemper with a rivera knucklehead profile. ( can link to where i purchased the profile upon request)
bass was D.I through ampeg SVX bass plugin.
vocals were recorded with an SM7B shure mic with some processing.
any other questions/critic, feel free to ask!
enjoy the track
