Thanks - I see the alternative input on the back now that I'm with the toaster. Thanks!
So all I need is converter/cable for guitar to iphone connector? Cool!
Thanks again.

Not in front of my Kemper right now. Is there a way to plug in a phone or iPad to play jam/backing tracks along with the guitar input?
thanks
What's the difference in a viola and a violin?
The viola will burn longer.
Awesome. Thanks.
Yamaha should hire you. You sold me on the DXR10 over the CLR - and it's cheaper so you saved me money too!
Thanks again!
Sorry - I wrote that before I got to the end where you said you think the CLR wins...
Hello All
Once again, thanks to everyone for all their input and suggestions.
To INGOLF ......... I watched your 2 Video's with the Matrix and Yamaha. I think the Yamaha definitely stands
on it's own, especially for the big price difference. Funny thing is, I also watched a 3rd Video you did using
the Power / Speaker of a Fender Mustang III. I actually thought, as you did, that it sounded pretty good. I
was surprised.
Where are these videos? Thanks.
Is there anything full range and powered that is in the shape of the Mesa horizontal 2x12? I've also wanted one of those...
Update: After a couple of rehearsals and two gigs with the ALTO SXM 112 I'm still convinced. It sounds really good, sound does not change if I move around (its a coax) and it was loud enough even at an open air gig (supported by a sidefill monitor for band sound).
So, it fulfils all my must have criteria with one very nice additional feature - it's light and it's handy. My two guitar gig bags in the one hand, the ALTO in the other one and the Kemper GigBag over my shoulder - means one way from car to stage - do I miss my 4X12...?
At 299 EURO it was good value for my bucks.
After looking at a picture of the back - how do you hook up the Kemper? I don't see inputs for left/right. Thanks. I do like the price $249 USD on eBay.
Pulled the trigger on the Marshall and Tweedy mini packs - looking forward to trying them out this weekend.
I have a toaster in Dallas... might also be able to help. Depends on logistics I guess
And when I checked, the Friedman cost about the same as the CLR - both in the $1K area...
I guess i was just too tired of the generic 19" rack look

This is why I came up with this idea

(BTW No Marshall heads were harmed in the making of this case, I built it from ground up )
What's all that stuff right of the Kemper?
From what I've seen the Friedman and CLR are in the same ballpark price wise.
OK - guess I'll just hang. I have the Kemper bag. My dealer threw it in with the Kemper since I was also getting a couple of other larger ticket items. Thanks for the input/feedback.
Thanks. Yeah I went with the toaster because of the LED's... just thought the rack might be more portable...
If anyone is interested.. unpowered toaster. Only a few months old.
Thanks all. The Tech 21 looks like an affordable first step. I'm just playing straight into my Yamaha Passport PA right now.
What do you guys use?
The main two I see talked about on forums are Atomic CLR and Friedman ASM-12.
What are other options?
The Golub Marshall Crunch is my go-to of late.
Tim Owens Friedman Dirty Shirley and BE100 profiles are solid too.
I like a bunch of the standard profiles. There is a Vibroking one that is nice for clean Fendery sounds.
Can someone list the recommended cabinets please. I see of post on TGP about the Atomic CLR. Stumbled across the Friedman, but both are around $1000 - seems pricey for a powered cab to me. I would just like to know some other options. Thanks. My KPA is not powered.
