    Hi all,

    Known problem check..

When I try to morph after coming from another preset, the morphing doesn’t work. When I hit it 2 times, then the next morphing works as it should.

I read here that this problem is around for some time now. I also read here that it would be fixed. Date of the post was 2018...

Has anyone an update? Is it supposed to be fixed? Is it just my unit that still has the problem?

    Thx!

Help, please... I made a very short video of it, but I can't upload it here because of the size of the file. But if you want you can see it in the kemper facebook group. Link below. The post is under the name Glenn Labie. Date of the post is 5 october. https://www.facebook.com/groups/363954780291903/

    Settings:
1: for example, Master volume set at 2
2: in the output section volume levels are set to my liking. For example: main at -20, monitor at -10, headphone at -20

    Action:
I turn my master volume around a little and end setting it again at 2 like above. What happens is that all the levels in the output section are now changed and all have another volume level as stated above??!? As a result my rig sounds suddenly a lot more quiet with the same master volume level as in the beginning!!

It happened once on stage that my monitor was not audible anymore all of a sudden and I couldn't find the problem (stressy! :)) But the strange thing is that that was maybe 1 year ago, so with another OS version than now! Now I'm on 4.06.12337 and there it is again.

    Hi all,
reading, learning a lot about the kemper and it's possibillities. It's my first time I will be using and recording DI. same with reamping, but could someone explane the following to me please:

When I load and play a certain profile I get a certain sound. This sound is different with different guitars or pickups.
Now, when I send a DI signal through that same profile which sound will I get then? Is the sound of the pickup and guitar included in the DI signal that's recorded?

    thx

Hi, yes I thought so that I have to buy another interface if I want to use SPDIF. If I go analog I have everything I need, so I guess I will give that a try first. I saw many people here that were satisfied with the analog DI. And if you set it up to 'gtr analog' it doesn't need extra ADDA conversion too...
    THX

Ok thank you guys! you're a big help. Just trying to get started here with the Kemper. I hope I don't look stupid...before posting here, I read loads of info on the net...
So I'll go SPDIF. This brings me to my next question. How do I connect the SPDIF with my DAW? Since I don't have the need for the preamps and converters of my presonus audiobox, I still need SPDIF I/O to connect with my PC. What's a good solution for this?
    Thank you!!!

Thx raoul23. So your advice is to get another interface with SPDIF in stead of recording DI the traditional way trough a DI box..about the reamping: actually I want really good profiles of our own rigs in stead of using an existing profile (which are really awesome), because I really want our sound like our fans are used to. Now I don't have the room or the mics to do this kind of high quality profiling. But once I got these custom profiles I will surely reamp everything myself. Or are you saying that I can get really close with an existing profile that's out there?

Hi all! Thanks in advance for your help. It's very appreciated.
I'm doing some research about the possibilities to record our first EP. We play metal. Eb tuning. We want to record DI's for all guitar and bass tracks ourselves and then send them to be reamped (we don't know yet who is going to do this, so feel free to drop some good names too:)).
We have the following equipment to record the DI's: kemper, Presonus audiobox, DAW. My question is..what are my best possibilties to record quality DI's with this equipment? For best results, do I get a DI box or another interface with SPDIF?

    Hi everyone,

I'm seriously thinking of buying a KPA rack to go with my current rig. That is a Diezel vh4 and cab with K100's.
My question is, how will the kemper profiles hold up/behave when I'm sending them through the vh4 and cab?

I'm very interested in the KPA for its capabilities in all those sounds and also for live use through PA. But I certainly don't want to part from my Diezel rig too. And buying a whole second rig with a power amp and for example some atomics is financially out of the question for me.

    Thank you for your advice.
