I would like to now more to. Read the other thread, but was not very in depth. Would be great if the kemper would be a all in one solution. A lot of guys here do have some sort of home studio and that would save space and bucks. I will try some stuff today.

great, I did not know this.

I have two gigs this weekend and wanted to take the kemper. Did a lot of tweaking, presets, cabs/monitors etc but a couple of minutes on my tube amp Diezel VH4 and Kemper was out. I like it a lot as a studio device, but for live it is not THE solution for me. The Diezel is so much more in you face, cuts through the mix and responsive to my playing. Never could find a profile that resembles the VH4 I know (I will try to profile my amp and see how that goes).

if I want to search the forum I get a code I have to enter. Make it easy. If I search Marshall or Fender, I want all results with that.

Hi kemper brothers,
Here a fresh track from our forthcoming album. It is my band The Untuned (so when I miss a note I have the best bandname in the world:-). The track is called Yeah and the opening guitar is Kemper and also the solo is a Kemper.
It has got a vintage rock/stoner kinda feel to it.
Hope you guys enjoy it.

Hi don, I tried to find something in the input settings menu, but cant find it. Can you explain what you mean? Thanks.

I will try this, thanks!!

Did not solve the problem and am over to my emu 1212m. No problems there. Kind of shitty because I really liked my focusrite. Not so much anymore.

Since the last updates my noisegate keeps changing when using rig manager. My noisegate setting is pretty high and everytime I change a rig within rig manager it sets it to low gate and ads noise because of that. What has changed and can I fix this?

I will try this and let you know if it works! Thanks a lot.

Hi guys,
I have a problem with my kemper and my focusrite interface. When playing through spdif I get dropouts all of the time. Did some test with latency etc.Do you have any idea what could go wrong?
Thanks!!

tried it in the send/return loop of the kemper and it sounds very nice by the way. I think you can get very close with what is in the kemper, but I have to say that the diablo sounds very musically. Got one billion options and now one billion and one (euh two, I have the gain+:-)

got one and it is a great piece of gear. Got a really great sound with my jcm 800. But also try the Koch Pedaltone (secondhand about the same price). The koch is more versatile but also has a small learning curve before it really shines.

I really like the rig manager. It is so much faster than working on the lcd display. Would like it if I could arrange the perform mode as well, That would be perfect.

Had problems getting both expression pedals to work and really read all there is to read, but found no solutions. Till I recalibrated the pedals and now both work like a charm. Hope I can help some of you with this;

Read and perform paragraph 2.9 of the manual.

just bought it after a long period of doubt (it is a lot of money), but am addicted already to working with it. Also love the noisegate/gates, it is the most quit piece of guitar gear I ever owned. And the user interface is so easy to get.
Sounds are more than ok. And it's fun, as I own the powerrack, to play at home levels as well as cranking it up.
There is so much free stuff online, amps, cabs etc. to go wild for a long, long time. And more is coming every day.
I know for sure that Line 6 will be coming with a comparable product next year (2014), but I did not want to wait any longer. We see that product once it arrives.

Thanks!!

I heard nothing good about the mixer-integrated audio interfaces...
I have a phonic firewire mixer and for the price it does an awesome job!
Concerning the USB, maybe for a pc editor? Thats my main wish for the Kemper at this time.

Hi Guys,
Was interested in the Kemper as far back as the Musicmesse some years ago where I saw the first demo of a Kemper Lunchbox and was really impressed. I am writing for two online platforms in Holland, http://www.gitaarnet.nl and http://www.upsizinggear.nl and tried to get the Kemper for a review, but the guys from Kemper never answered to my emails .
I am really into producing music/songs (mainly rock and some metal). A bunch of those songs I play with my band The Untuned.
Mainly I am playing rhythm and and are trying, with some help, to learn some leads.Made my first profiles and especially the Rockerverb 50 MK1 clean sounds really good. Also did the EVH3 50 watts (channel 3 and 4) which are ok (will do them again).
Really like profiling and it is a peace of cake. I will put these profiles online. Thanks all you guys for putting the info and profiles online. That helped me convincing the Kemper is the right choice for me.
I am using the powerrack version.
