Great Question: I don't record and only play live about 10Xs/Year. While this is undoubtedly the best piece of gear I've owned, I feel that I could do ALMOST as good with something that ties up less of my cash. I'm most likely going to go the Amplifire route.
Thanks for asking,
Ron

This works very good and is quite easy to achieve. I modded the FCB for a friend the same way - let me check if I can find some pictures of the build!
The biggest pain in the ass indeed was to cut it of staight... I used a metal saw which worked out surprisingly well.
find a friend with a table saw and adjustable gate. buy a metal blade and your done.
Welcome
Many Thanks
These boards are awesome, and getting your perspectives is very invaluable. So glad I got the KPA!
I feel the same! Very nice and helpful people here.
Sorry, I'm a plug and play type guy but really need to know what the fuss is all about.
Thanks
Ron
Welcome to the place where dreams come true. Well.... not quite, but since I bought my KPA, I haven't looked at another amp!
Welcome back!
It sounds very nice. For me, I don't record so for gigs, it's nice and portable. A couple of wires and off I go. Wait..... that's what I do now with my KPA!!!
Seriously, it's a nice sounding product in an equally nice form factor.
I'm keeping my KPA
