you can change the behaviour of the slot switches in the system menu.
here is the corresponding quote from the manual
The default functionality of the Rig Buttons 1-5 of the Remote and Stage is to trigger Morphing; however, you may prefer to use them for reloading the current Rig/Slot in its original state. To select this behavior , disengage the global “Rig Button Morph” option, located in the System Settings.

page 125 in the manual explains how to assign functions to the switches
-
another option would be to use software monitoring for the reamped track or listen through the headphones output of the Profiler.
-
versuch mal testweise den Profiler im Device Manager sowohl im Bereich "Audio Ein- und Ausgänge" als auch unter "Sound, Video und Game Controller" zu deinstallieren und starte danach den Profiler und den Rechner neu.

What is the value of the distortion sens parameter in the input menu?
-
is anything locked in your Profiler? The locking only becomes active once you leave Profiling mode.
-
you can find diagrams for all possible configurations in the reference manual starting on page 114.
Unlike information that can be found online the reference manual is the best resource for reliable information regarding the Profiler.

All facts I'm aware of, but still doesn't tell me if it eliminates the buzz. For giggles, lets say I pony up for a DC7 and a Crux, that's 2000ma of power through a grounded pedal power supply. Will it eliminate the buzz? Or say I buy the 9V 25000mAH battery from Mission Engineering, plenty of power and longevity, will that eliminate the buzz?
a grounded power supply will get rid of the buzz

if the Profiler is connected to Rig Manager it automatically stores the current state of the slot to the clipboard. Since the clipboard survives a restart it will still be there after a restart. To clear the editbuffer you only need to switch to a different performance. When you return to the previous one you will find that it loads in its stored state and not in the edited version.

you can run a stereo setup with a Powered Profiler, a passive Kabinet, and a PowerKabinet by connecting the PowerKabinet to the direct output and activating the monitor stereo option in the output menu.

at the moment no… Should I download and install ASIO4ALL2.15? Will this work?
ps: no way will it work maybe in the future without one of these?
you always need an ASIO driver to use any audio interface with a DAW. If you install Asio4All on your computer you will be able to use the Profiler as the audio interface for your DAW

the pedal assignment is global and does not require any saving. The volume pedal settings like range and location are located in the rig menu and have to be stored with every rig. If you want to use the same settings for every rig you can use the VolPedLck function on the volume pedal settings page in the rig menu to globalize the settings. The Volume pedal lock settings need to be activated individually for Browse and Perform mode.

Is there a parameter with the doubler effect which allows it to be set so the dry signal is set to one channel and the doubled signal is to the other?
Not clear about this one.
As far as I can tell, no mater what the setting, I'm hearing the doubler in both the left and right channels.
I want to record two tracks at the same time, sending the left output to one track, and the right channel to another track, panned hard left and right. I want the left channel to be the Kemper without the doubler, and the right channel to be the doubled guitar only (no dry signal).
that is how the Double Tracker works when you select Master Stereo as the output source. The original is on the left channel and the delayed signal is on the right channel.

excuse me but in my environment Studio One 6 does not recognize the Kemper as an audio interface.. it recognizes my Octa Capture, GR55 and Windows but not the Kemper.. Kemper works flawlessly as interface when set up in my PC W10 but no way I can use it within Studio One 6.. I wrote to Presonus and waiting for their answer…
did you install Asio4All or Wasapi as the driver?

But here in this thread G String said, that both sides have the same Volume. (See first side of the thread)
He denied that there is any difference and nobody else than me could see any difference?
So what is true?
The volume compensation in the double tracker is by design. If the right (delayed) signal level would not be 1.2 dB higher the human ear would perceive the left signal to be louder.
-
Christoph Kemper explained the reason why the delayed side is 1.2 dB louder in another thread.
Here is a screenshot:

I just downloaded and installed Reaper on my Mac and was able to record using the Profiler as my interface without any issues.
Did you select the Profiler as the audio device in the Audio/Midi setup?
-
by connecting an expression pedal to control volume or by changing the way Ableton controls the tuner.
Instead of using CC#7 send CC#31 to control the tuner and use the mute option in the tuner.

the Kabinet will work in FRFR mode when you load a rig without an active cab module. That is the reason why imprints do not work in that scenario.
The correct way is to activate the "monitor cab off" option and use studio or merged profiles if you want to use the imprints and send a frequency corrected sound to the FOH mixing console.
