To get the same behaviour form the pedal like you do fron the volume knob of your guitar you need to place the pedal at the beginning of the signal flow in the Profiler. This is done in the Rig menu on the volum pedal page. If you want this behaviour for all your rigs make sure to activate the Lock Vol pedal function on the same page.

I think I have a similar problem.
I wanted to import the new delay presets into the rig manager.
But the message "Import failed. Only profiler content can be imported" appears.
I tried to import .kipr rigs from a folder on the hdd.you obviously missed this sentence directly above the download button
"Presets cannot be imported via Rig Manager. The pack does include a step by step description how to import these Presets via USB stick." -
The cab on/off status is not controllable from the Remote or through MIDI.

Hallo Forum,

The guitar signal should not sound like "crap" at any of the outputs.
There are however several options that influence the type of signal that is present at the main outs.
Go to the Output menu and check the following:
Which output source is assigned to the main outs? Make sure it is set to Master Stereo.
Did you set the volume level for the main outs too high so they might be clipping the input of your active monitors?
Have you checked the main output equalizer settings in the output menu? Is it set to some odd values?
Have you tried to reset the output settings using the Init Globals function on the first page of the system menu? -
you need to select the alternative input in the input menu in order to use it
-
no need to wait. 4.2.1 has just been elevated to release level

To add effects to a rig all you need to do is press the stomp or effect button long enough for the stomp or effect screen to appear in the display. Then turn the Type knob to select the type of effect that you want to assign. Once you did that you will see the parameters for that effect in the display.
Tweak the settings in the display and click on the store button to store the entire rig. You can either replace the one you started from or save it with a new name to create some variations. -
The signal of the parallel path does not pass through any of the following modules (C,D,Amp,Cab,X,MOD,Delay, Reverb)
The mix signal does. -
The update procedure is described in the PDF document that comes with the download of the 4.0.6 update.
The USB stick needs to be FAT32 formatted and should be inserted after the Profiler has fully booted. -
No-the cab module is not an effect.

why are you using one TRS and one TS cable? The TS outs of the Profiler deliver an unbalanced signal.
I would suggest you use two good quality TS cables to connect the Profilers main outs to the interface. -
-5 means that the pedal will produce no sound in the heel position. At zero the pedal will have no function.
You need to try it to find the position that suits you best. -
The settings for the volume pedal are made on the volume pedal settings page in the Rig menu.

No need to deregister. New owners of second hand Profilers can simply register the serial in their account. The previous owner will be notified by email about the new registration.
-
It should not make a difference which component is powered up first.

Does the Profiler get listed in the system report of your Mac in the USB section?
Have you tried a different USB port? -
please make a recording of this issue and send it to [email protected] together with a backup of your Profiler.
