Sending the wet signal from the outputs of your external effect directly into your audio interface is a good idea.

If you use the direct out to send the DI signal to your interface it is obviously not available as a send for your external effects plus the Delay/reverb output source is only available for the internal delay and reverb effects of the Profiler.
-
The Aux in function is global and cannot be used for certain slots only.

Please watch this video and read the chapter about reamping in the reference manual (p.51)

That is a known bug that will be fixed in a future version. It does not indicate any malfunction but is just cosmetic.
-
Please try if you also experience a lag when you connect the Profiler directly to your gigrigs MIDI Out.
-
Delete is greyed out when you are in the All performances location. Please select a different location to delete your performance.
This is also true for rigs and has been that way since day one. -
I've also had a few instances where I was sure I had saved changes to a rig in a performance but it was different the next time I fired it up.
After you stored the entire performance the rigs will not change by themselves. Maybe you changed some settings in the stomps and effects of a rig in a performance and then accidentally you stored the module settings instead of the entire performance. This can happen in the heat of the moment as the module is the preselected option when you click the store button after tweaking a module.
-
if you want to use the FCB to switch between the slots in performance while tweaking it you always need to store before changing to the next slot.
If you use the rig left/right buttons on the right side of the Profiler front panel to go from one slot in a performance to the next you only need to store the performance once before you switch to the next performance. -
Thank you for reporting this bug.
It is caused by running two pitch shift algorithms in series.
Our developers are already working on a fix.Great soundexample BTW!
-
that depends on the type of output source that you have assigned to the Direct output. Master mono will include all possible processing while git/analog is just the pure unprocessed guitar signal.

what is the buffersize in Logic?
-
Please try to connect a headphone or active monitor directly to the headphone out or monitor out of the Profiler to find out what is causing your issue.
-
When you use a real cab for monitoring you need to activate the "Monitor cab off" function in the output menu. Otherwise you are sending a cabsimulated sound into a real cab which will result in a muffled tone.
Have you tried using a headphone to evaluate the sounds? -
Please check the pedal mode parameter in the wah edit menu. If it is set to bypass@stop the wah will be deactivated as soon as you take your foot of the pedal. If you want the wah to be on even if you do not move the pedal you should choose the "on" setting for the pedal mode parameter.

Hi all, I've buy my Profiler this satursday and I'm in the same case of AndreCau. I've tried so many things to find a solution, even buy a new sound card to plug in SPDIF this morning but it doesn't resolved anything. I'll tried to reset the system evening (even if I just read that it doesn't worked for AndreCau).
The sound that I 've from the KPA is can be discribe as a digital sound : cool, flat, no soul, not distorded with the clean rigs. And it sound to me as all the hi gain are likly the same and all the clean are quite the same too. It's like when you plug your guitar directly in the aux input of a Hi-Fi.
I used to play the Amplitube 4 at home and real tube amps with my bands. My KPA sounds really bad.
I've read carrefully all this conversation but I'm sure that the problem come from the KPA, meaby a special setting in the sytem ???
Thanks for help !!!
P.S I'm from Paris (not the same time zone).
Please check your output source settings. Make sure to select Master stereo as the output source for the outputs that you use for monitoring. If you still encounter the problem with that setting please send an email with some recordings and a copy of your Profiler backup to [email protected]

You can use the XLR and TS both at the same time but they both will be controlled by the same main output volume. So if you want to turn up your stage monitoring volume you will also raise the volume at FOH.
-
every headphone and speaker will sound different.
If the same speaker sounds identical at any output you can be sure that the difference is not caused by the Profiler.
Since you prefer the sound of your headphones you should use that as a benchmark when shopping for monitors. -
then try to connect one of the monitors to the headphone output for a comparison but turn down the headphone out volume first.
