I'll be very interested in their reply. I believe the only way to affect output to send is by adjusting the cab/amp level.
in my case the output is too hot for my effects.
I would like to see this feature added in the next firmware.

I recently got back into pedals myself.
I'm using the Xotic SP Comp, EP Booster, SL Drive and JHS Double Barrel in front of the Kemper.
I made my own clean profiles from my Seymour Duncan convertible with the Warehouse Jensen type speaker.
It sounds incredible, where have you been all my life...
I've got a TC Electronic Corona Chorus and Flashback X4 Delay in a stereo loop after the stack.
Although the Kemper chorus and delay are quite good I like the TC electronics better.
Someday soon I will upload the new Seymour Duncan profiles.

What do you mean by "adjusting the loop return volume?" Are you talking about the Volume control parameter in the Loop slot? Adjusting this did not help my problem at all.
Also, there is a "Distortion Loop" if you're running the effects you describe in a loop; I only run Mod/Delay/Reverb in a normal "Mono Loop."

It seems my issues are not the same as yours.
Yes, I meant volume control parameter in the loop slot.
I don't know why I assumed this was a return control.
The manual doesn't specify if it's send or return ...
As for the distortion loop I tried it and got the same results.
For now I am sticking with the front end setup.
    Thanks for your reply,
    EC

I'm glad you posted this question because I'm having what I think is the same dilemma.
Up until just recently I never used any pedals with the Kemper.
I have fallen in love with the Xotic SP Compressor and the JHS Double Barrel and want to use them.
What I have found is that the loop return is louder than going front end with pedals.
So, a rig with any amount of gain with be boosted and thus distort more.
I like rigs that are slightly pushed and react to dynamics.
These rigs lose their sweet spot when using the loop.
I reduced the loop volume return about -2.5 and got the same as going str8 in the front.
I was happy but then started wondering what about the signal coming out of the loop.
Is it just like coming from the guitar? Has any mojo been lost due to say impedance or something?
After recording examples of both setups and studying the results I can't say for sure.
So, what are the pros and cons of loop vs front?
I am leaning towards going in the front because that's what we do with amps anyway.
I'm talking about typical comp/boost/dist pedals.
This also frees up slots for more effects in the Kemper.
I look forward to other opinions on this....

I'm lusting after the JHS Double Barrel.
    Anyone have one?
I think I have to get one!

My Suhr has quite a bit more output than my Strats.
The rigs that are on that sweet spot edge of breaking up become harsh with the Suhr unless I back off -6 on the clean sense.
At some point I might have to create separate rigs for each guitar but for now global lock the clean sense and change it when I change guitars.

You are the only one that profiles the proper amount of highs.
Love the SM7B and Royer 121.
I also appreciate your labeling system.
Would love to hear another attempt at a Tone King

    Hello Michael,
I would greatly appreciate DI versions of each amp in the future.
In my experience it's easy to do since there's no microphone to deal with.
I have become proficient miking my own cabs with R121/SM57 or MD421 combinations.
I have a Wharehouse speaker I really like lately...
I'd like to be able to use my cabs along with your great amps, which I'm already doing.
I have found that some amp/cab combinations work really well while others don't
With firmware 3.0 I think the results will be better than ever.
On gigs I've been using monitor cab off to my amps and cab on to the FOH.
I don't mic amps onstage... I depend on whatever the backline company has for amps which can be bad.

i have been able to save direct profiles however I did discover bug that may be related.
after saving a few profiles some of them were very low volume.
    Not just the direct profiles.
I found that if you don't go back to browse mode before starting a new profile is not right.
by the way, I picked up a LiveWire Solutions SPDI passive direct box for only $29Guitar Center.
And has a 40 DB pad and sounds fine.

The Vibrolux from Soundside is one of my go to clean.
also, AmpFactory Vibroverb and Vibroking are great.
i like to slam it pretty hard with the compressor but blend the original at about %50
also use the compression in the amp stack to taste

I was one of the early birds.
I did the same thing you did, I ordered and saw a pending transaction on my credit card.
however, the store had no record of my order, why?
I sent a message to them and they said there's no record of my order.
but I have a pending transaction on my credit card, how did that happen?
so I gave up I didn't want to buy it twice right?
The pending transaction disappeared and here now I sit without the remote .

Btw, Radial JDI direct boxes make a difference when doing the DI to PA thing.
    something about that Jensen transformer...
I'm thinking of mounting one in my Kemper rack so I always have it.

Thank you Michael Britt, Profile pack 3 is your best yet.
And I MUCH appreciate your update of profile pack 1.
The added air and openness really makes a difference for me.
I stayed up all night last night auditioning profile pack 3 while playing with some tracks in the studio.
The rigs sit perfectly in the mix with just the right balance of frequencies.
Very little tweaking required, I do like a little extra compression.
I just couldn't put the guitar down!
I can't wait to take these to the stage now.
Hoping for killer Clair bros wedges on the next show
Keep on doing what you doing Michael, it's getting better every time.
    Many thanks, Emilio
