Don,
Is this from the white noise file I sent you? Just curious because I sent it using the yellow fasel setting (I haven't tried your settings yet).

Don,
Could you you please post the settings for the CAE wah based on the white noise files I sent you?
Here is my 2nd guitar ever (I don't own my first one anymore which was a 1980 Memphis Les Paul), but this still plays and sounds great. I bought this new in 1985 and I'll bring it out every now and then when my band does an 80's throwback show.

I went back and looked at the definition on my gain profiles compared to my clean profiles. The gain was 5.5 and the clean was 5.0. I pulled the definition on the clean back to 3.0 and it did help smooth out the sound a lot. The SC pups aren't as brittle now but still have that quack and when I add an OD pedal to the clean it is much smoother as well.
I finally ran the Kemper CAE Wah preset compared to the real thing and did a side by side. The thing I found is that the Kemper version is very close but I couldn't get it just right until I noticed it comes with the mix at 100%. Once I turned that down to 65% and the Pedal range to +40% it sounds identical. The mix at 100% is what has been frustrating me this whole time.
The guys have had random tweets over the last few months about recording so there should be a new album coming out soon!
I don't think he is still out playing with her, Extreme is getting ready to do some dates. I also don;t see him changing from the guitar/amp/boss pedals set up that he has used forever. She always had another guitar player too in the band who I've seen using a Axe-Fx in live videos so maybe he finally got wise and upgraded.
I sent in wave files for my MXR CAE wah to Don back in Sept 2015 and never got the settings for it
This head has been sitting for about 10 years, last time I used it was for some clean tones on a recording. Had some major cleaning of the pots to do before this was profiled, they were shorting out when I started.
I dug out my old H&K head to profile it after previewing other people's recent H&K profiles just to see if it was as cool as I remember it being in the 90's. I think they turned out pretty good. I used an old red box for the profiling then merged the profile with my Randall cab I had used on my Mesa Recording Pre profiles. There sure have been a lot of H&K amps showing up in the last month on the RE!
Let me know what you guys think of them!

Good stuff! It brings back memories. I had the Progap and the ProQ.
With that stereo setup, it must have sounded huge!
It was a huge sound out front. Ran it through a Mesa 2:90 power amp and two Mesa 2x12 cabs
Nice, is that a Rocktron Progap? That was my go to rig before I picked up a marshall.
Yes sir! Used to have two of them running left & right live with different sounding presets along with a Rocktron (RSP) Intelliverb (should have never sold that!).
Here is my new live rig set up (top rack & pedal board below) and my studio gear below the top rack with my new second KPA

That's a bummer
It would be so cool to be able to send the guitar & pedal board signal back through the remote cable into the KPA. Seems like one of the footswitch jacks could take the audio and send it back so I wouldn't have to run another 1/4" cable back to the KPA with the remote cable. Maybe things aren't wired that way internally, but I know the CAT5 cables can handle several audio signals at once.
dr - how did this cable work for you? I just ordered 2 (broke the plastic lock clip on the original) and the ones without the neutrik don't make consistent contact and keep powering on and off, at least the 2 I've tried from different electronics stores have.
prsgary, the cable works great! I use it to gig out 2-4 times a month and it works flawless. I keep the one that came with my remote at home for studio use.
The last two betas have my remote flickering at the preset lights about every 10 seconds, 3.1.3 had all five preset lights flickering and 3.1.4 has the #4 light flickering. Still some bugs to work out
I think I'm going to put a small zip strip on it
It would be nice to be able to bypass or turn off the Remote's looper button in the main unit. I occasionally hit the looper button on the Remote when playing live and it can be a pain. I don't ever use it anyways, so it would be a nice feature to be able to make it bypassed.
Kemper is on the right speaker:
Eleven Rack on the left side with a preset called Peace of Mind from the ElevenRackPresets webpage and the Kemper on the right using a rig exchange profile from Per Sviggum called PES Rockman XPR Lead
