Oh yes!
Like a pointer to a desired profile. This would be really convenient.

That's why you send CC47 = <performance number>
Thats not right. To get to performance number "n" you have to send "n-1" on Midi CC47. Which means, if you send a value of "1" like Tmustard89 did you will end up in performance #2
Sorry, yeah, slot one, but performance #2
Also so I have to set the cc50 to 127 in order for the patch to switch properly? Does that make sense looks like this?
This should get you into performance #2 patch #4
I did something similar, but our light (in this case fog machines) are triggered by a midi track which comes out of a uTrack24, which is also controling our Kemper amps.
We are using a Raspberry Pi, which listens via Midi Interface to CCs which are basically starting the song on the Raspi. The Raspberry Pi is then sending out the desired DMX commands via DMX Interface to the fog machines.
I use the software QLC+ on the raspi, which is pretty nice. The raspi boots directly into QLC+ and after 15 seconds it is ready to receive Midi CCs. It even has a small web interface, so one can check the setup or remote control it, which can be pretty handy.
mh okay, so it has to be something else. Have you tried a different cable?
Hey Marc,
Where does the problem occure? On stage? I have the same issue on stage, the pedal moves slightly caused by the movement of the stage (so its basically like always the drummers fault )
Nope! But I try to make everything as perfect as it can be. And if its just a little more work I'll do it
Alternative Input is more noisy..
I had a patch bay but now I don't need it anymore, which is a plus for me. I carried around so much dead space in my much deeper SKB Case.
Post your Kemper Rig Pictures Please
This is my rig and heres the rack: https://www.amazon.de/Effektra…&keywords=8he+rack&psc=1&
Cheers
Thank you, I found the perfect solution on Amazon Germany. 8u Shallow Rack: Line6 G90, Kemper, Palmer Macht402, 2U Rack Drawer short and one spare HE.
Do you have your Remote connected? This caused alot of problems for me while using Midi via Cubase.
My current setup. We are playing with inEar but sometimes a real cab can be fun
Selling my selfmade patch panel for the Kemper.
I have no use for it anymore since i switched to a more shallow rack.
Price of the parts was around 100€, i would offer it for 50€ + shipping.
Its located in Bochum, Germany
Hey there,
I'm searching for a 8U shallow(!) rack with a maximum depth of 30cm. I love SKB Cases, but it seems they don't built them with 8u.
Any tipps?
This happend to me alot when I programmed Midi CCs for automation. When I disconnected the Remote the crashes suddenly disappeared. Thats of course not the solution for your problem, but you could try at least if your Kemper is behaving the same way.
I use a Cymatic LP16 for playing the Midi file, never had an issue with that when the Midi file was sent from the LP16 (even with the remote connected). With Cubase -> Scarlett 6i6 Midi Out -> Kemper and the Remote connected i got crashes all the time
Hey folks,
we currently play with a Cymatic LP-16 Sample Player which provides MIDI CC Tracks for our two Kemper Amps. The MIDI Tracks are on Channel 1 for the first Kemper and on Channel 3 for the other Kemper (on Channel 2 there are some MIDI PCs to switch on our Fog Machines, which works totally fine).
Theres an issue with this setup, half of the time both Kemper do not respond to the MIDI data or they do weird things (selecting banks we've never programmed etc.)
We recognized, that for instance in one specific song, every time my Kemper receives the MIDI CC to switch to the solo channel the Kemper of my bandmate switches to a totally weird bank we never use.
Its 100% reproducible. Because of the correlation of both events I was thinking about Crosstalk between the channels? But it seems weird.. We use a Midi Splitter in order to get the signal to both Kemper. My mate uses a Midi Merger to be able to connect his Behringer Foot Controller aswell. But since our both amps are not working it should not be the problem.
Has anyone of you ever had such a weird behaviour?
Yes, thats exactly what I did and now its working perfectly
