What has that thing got in there, 2 - 12" speakers, a tweeter and an 8" driver or something? Or is that just a port at the top/middle?
-
I use a Spark Stereo FRFR Active Cab (2x 180 W) from the German company BlueAmps.
Its really great!!!!
BlueAmps FRFR from GermanyThe 2x12 about the size of a 4x12 looks nice!

I've playing on 2 -the MBritt mode. Planning on taking it to the next neighborhood jam. Been only playing it in house. Latest upgrade lost my local library, but I have it backed up. Kemper support wanted me to send files that were too large via Dropbox or other, but I think I'll just rebuild it from my backup. Looking forward to getting some of my downloaded profiles back.
Different subject, but is there an easy way to save a list of browser favorites? I know I should already know this but I don't.[Blocked Image: http://web.qx.net/mcantrell/gear/SiggyKemperXitone.png]
Beautiful PRS 408!!! Love it!!! That's actually the PRS I want next, but I'm trying to save up for a Private Stock version for my retirement in 1 year and 8 months!
I could probably play the Xitone in any one of the first 3 FRFR modes and be happy. I like the bottom end
on number 3 the best, though. What a great cab, though!!! -
Where can I order it?
I am from Europe..You ever jump off the cliff and order one? If so, did you get the closed/open back convertible option?
-
Incidentally, I played a gig with mine last Saturday night!
I had compliments from the whole band and several guitarists/musicians in the audience.
It really felt/'sounded like I had a powerful guitar amp on stage behind me!!!I never even had to crank it up that much, either. I left the master volume on the Xitone MBritt
around half way and never needed to punch it overly hard for leads and parts that had to stand
out. -
I would imagine Mick would ship to Europe. It just might cost a little bit more for the shipping/insurance/customs.
Make sure and email him to discuss things first. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing it in convertible open/closed back format.
The easily removeable rear panel version is AWESOME! -

Yep... FRFR powered cab. I can get some good harmonic howl outta mine.
-
Had my first band rehearsal with it! OMG! In the mix it's even more awesome!
My other guitarist (both of us play lead and rhythm) can't believe I'm not playing through a tube amp.
"That's the best sounding thing you've plugged into... and the others were good, too..."
Open or closed back is good! Wow! -
Great stuff..
Mine is on order and I can't wait to fire it up!!
Si
You're gonna love it!
-
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I freaking LOVE this Xitone MBritt (Michael Britt) FRFR amp/cab!!!
Wow!!!!!!! Best thing I've ever plugged a modeler into since the tube amp power section with a guitar cab!!!
Feels/sounds like an "amp in the room", but does not muddy up or drastically color the presets!!!
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! Was well worth the 10 week wait! Mick had some shop equipment problems while mine was being made
that slowed things up a little bit. -

OH MY SWEET JESUS!!!!!!!
I LOVE the Xitone MBritt!!!!!I played the Kemper and the Helix into it cranked for 4 solid hours after it was delivered today!!!
Search over!!!! I have the open/closed back convertible option. It sounds great either way!!!
Love the 5 DSP tone curve modes!
Mick has a royal WINNER here!!!!!!
Worth every week of waiting!!!!!! -
I have helix... Give me Kemper Pedalboard Profiling Amplifier KPPA...
They'll sell a lot of LT boards, though!
-
Yeah... if you crank the whole collection to gig volume, it's tone bliss!
If it's a quiet gig, I'll just EQ a little highs in.
-
I usually get pretty good feedback if I want it as well... we'll see if it changes when my new Xitone Michael Britt convertible open/closed back cab gets here this week!
-
Probably don't need one this big, but they have different VA/Watt rating sized ones.
Unpowered Kemper is only between 50 and 100 watts power draw.
1500 VA one would give you over an hour with full power loss. Brownouts and such will only be a blip on the battery
reserve power occasionally. -
There are a few brands with small economical UPS power supplies (basically a battery and power conditioner/controller/auto-failover switch all in one).
I've used some small APC brand ones over the years. Most are found in the computer section at stores and at
places like Bestbuy.com and Newegg.com if shopping online. -
I'd be all over one if they came out with it!
