The feature I'm really looking forward to is the ability to 'share' FX presets.... purely because I'm not much of a tweaker, and when I do make the effort, I get sidetracked by playing as the damn thing sounds so good! Hope its still part of the planned release!

Thanks for the update GS, measure twice, cut once as they say! Rather have it right than fast!

The Rig Manager release is on the shelf next to all the free beer, and when will it be available.......?

Well I for one really hope that the editor is really disappointing, or I'm gonna have to go out and buy a laptop! Can't imagine how I'm gonna rackmount a Commodore 64 and CRT tube display in my 6U.... and where the hell are all the floppy discs gonna go!

For the vented blanking plate, can you post a picture of how this looks/attaches?
Will do, when I manage to get to the rehearsal room!

Same here V8guitar, but I have one of these plugged in:
https://www.amazon.com/Etherne…ter&qid=1569619204&sr=8-7
and zip-tied to a 1U vented blanking plate at the back of the rack! Sacrificial! If someone snags & pulls the cable, its gonna be the connecter that fails!

I think the reason that the Editor is taking sooooo long is that all the Kemper staff are too busy reading this thread and having a right good chuckle! For me, it drops when it drops, and I'll be thankful that its a FREE update and I won't have to go out and buy Kemper II XL (which will be out of date in 6 months) to run it!

Last night, after updating my Kemper head, I noticed a 'Bad Horsie' wah in the presets. Keen to see how it compared to the current one I was using, I loaded it up to the bordering free stomp and assigned a remote button to both, so I could A/B them very quickly to see which sounded best. Surprisingly, and by 'happy accident' both ON together sounded really good! Anyone else running 2 Wah's together to achieve a distinct 'biting' wah sound?

Awesome! THE man! Was always inspired to play by Paul from an early age, and used to try & copy his solos from TAB books. gave that in though when I realised my fingers were about an inch too short for the fingerings! developed my own style though, cos I tried to play them by 'tapping'! \m/ \m/

Without wishing to come over all pedantic... can't we have these announcements in the "Announcements From Kemper" thread and made sticky? This announcement has already been knocked off the top of the sub folder, and I don't update via RM, but via USB when the 'announcements' are made! Admittedly I don't upgrade until the Beta is approved to full release, but would appreciate knowing from a 'sticky' when that happens?
please & thankyou

I'd definately say we're moving into early autumn here in the north of the UK after the weekend we've just had!

6U Rackmount for 3U unpowered Kemper, with Line6 G90, Korg Tuner & Matrix Poweramp. This sits on a 4 x 10 Marshall cab, with a double layer dense foam sheet in between to dampen vibrations.

A warm welcome from another "God's Own County" dweller!

Not for me.... owning a rack version and foot controller. Attractive for a first time buyer, coming in less than rack & foot controller. If I were a first time buyer, I'd still go rack though. I'm an 80's rack man through & through! \m/ \m/

Just had a thought! FOH in front of the guitar player is gonna look like a plate of spagetti with all those connections! KEMPER stage mulitcore imminent?

BB2019 Haha! I feel your pain! Was looking to buy one of these a few yrs ago, but was put off by the seller saying they weighed as much as a small car!

Bet thats heavy!... what with those Marshall poweramps in there!
