  • Can we please get some kind of Kemper Editor Software for your computer

    I agree. As far as what I built in Reaktor and what I have coming in future updates to that Reaktor Ensemble, much of that is not possible, at least based on the document entitled "Profiler MIDI Parameter Documentation". I'd love to be able to scroll through stomps and then have control of the 4 knobs to vary the associated parameters. It appears as though this way of working was not implemented in the design of the KPA.


    What I can, and plan to add within the next two weeks or so are the following: wah parameters, compressor parameters, distortion parameters, equalization parameters, and modulation parameters. With this implementation you'd still have to select your stomps as usual (manually) but then have control over certain parameters as listed in the aforementioned MIDI document (see "Parameter List" pages 6-10). It would help me a lot to know of the parameters listed which ones are of the highest importance. For example, int he current Ensemble in the Reverb section I left out parameters such as: damping, bandwidth, and pre-delay. So within each Address maybe just suggest 3-4 of the most important parameters. This way the interface won't be crazy cluttered as making controls for every single one would force some scrolling and looks overwhelming.

    I have built a Native Instruments Reaktor ensemble that allows some basic control of the Kemper via MIDI. My Kemper (rack module) is not within convenient reach while practicing and I got board with the limitations of my MIDI foot controller. This is my initial cut after about 2 hours of "discovery" and pouring through the Profiler MIDI Parameter Documentation. This version gives you the ability to do the following: Browse Rigs (up and down increments) turn Stomps, and Effects on and off, open and close the Tuner, send Tap Tempo, Delay and Reverb settings, and some detailed Amplifier settings. This is my first cut (version 1.0), and I plan to add more features based on the "Parameter Lists" (pp 4-11 of the Profiler MIDI Parameter Documentation). I would like to get feedback from the Kemper community prior to make further additions.

    Greetings All. I'm a happy new Kemper (rack) owner! I haven't done much but browse a few (like 5) rigs and fell in love real quick. I'm looking forward to mastering this awesome piece of kit and networking within this Kemper forum. My major studio components include: Kemper PA (rack), Novation MiniNova, Moog Slim Phatty, Roland Integra 7 and Fantom XR, Focusrite Liquid 56, Fender Triple Play, Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Pro, Eastman acoustic/ electric.
