So I was setting up my Kemper set up for tonight's gig. I work in performance mode and was setting up wahs and pitch control functions for certain songs. I figured that since I was using performance mode, I when I stores each rig, it would also store weather the expression pedal was in wah function or pitch function. But it appears that is a global system function and I have to choose between wah, pitch, etc
Does that mean I have to get another another expression pedal or is there a work around to use it for both

I'd really appreciate one more profile of this setup... only with a tad less gain...that would be perfect
Did it lose its magic when you lowered the gain on the profile?
-
This is a great sounding profile. Per Michael's advice I lowered the definition, added some compressor in the amp section and added a little tube sag. I also lowered the gain by 1 LED. Its pretty big sounding, so I am not sure how it will sit in the mix at a gig, but it sounds great in the room through my CLR cab

Hmmm. I guess I need to break down and buy some Britt profiles and see why all the fuss.. It seems many of you have bought all 4 packs. So, if you were new to these profiles And could only have one. Which one would it be and why ? I'm a modern worship artist with roots in classic and 80s rock. If I had to label myself I would call me vintage modern..lol..
What kind of amps do you normally prefer to play through?

I have been really digging Michael's BE100 profiles lately from Pack3. I through together a quick video of how this profile sustains like a loud tube amp driven hard. It sounds loud in this video, but that's because my Iphone6 is just a few feet away, directlyin front of my Atomic CLR. It's much lower than gig volume, trust me. Using my R9 with WCR Cherry Buckers in it. This is the "fried a hole 6" from pack 3. Its a HUGE sounding profile. I know Michael doesthem with a 3rd power 212, but this profile soundslike a 100watt amp through a 412. Don't mind theshitty playing, its just to show the sustain.

Got some killer '56 Fender tweed amps (along with a few other gems) from some friends today and Mike was able to get his mojo workin'! Got some AMAZING profiles!
Are those profiles going to available at some point?

Check your spam/junk folder and let me know. The file was sent out but I can try resending again.
Just checked Rich. Not in my spam folder

Sorry for for the late response. It should be instant. Are you still waiting on it?
Yes. Other than the receipt from paypal for payment, I haven't received anything. My email is [email protected]

Rich, I just purchased the EVH pack. How do I receive it? Other profiles I have purchased, the downloads are automatically sent upon payment.

Thanks! Sent you a medium gain profile as requested. Hopefully it's what you're looking for.
Rich, the profile is great. I have a profile from M. Britt of the 5153 from his first pack. But he only has one profile of the amp. Its a higher gain profile. I lowered the gain on the MBritt profile to be the same as the one you sent me and they sound very similar. To me that says a lot because I have been using his profiles exclusively for my gigs. I am gonna buy your 5153 profile pack when I get home later tonight. The funny thing is, I have heard the 5153 in person and in many demo videos and never liked the amp. But I really dig both profiles of the amp. Go figure.

I submitted my request for a try of the 5153

I have both of the new packs. Like I said over on TGP, I own a Helios, and Michael's profile is spot on to the real thing. The Dirty Shirley is fantastic. The 72 Marshall is really good too. You can tell I am a "Marshall guy" huh. The Supro is fantastic with my tele and the proverb is great with any guitar I put in front of it. Love the AC50 too.

Joe is incredible. HIs rig is worth a fortune, though, between his Dumbles, Van Weeldens, and all his vintage guitars, it's just an insane amount of money. What's funny is that he could probably floor people with his playing even through a Blues Jr. I think the closest tone to his sound that I think I've profiled is one of the Helios profiles I recently did. Lots of gain but fat and clear. I can't wait to get that one out.
Michael, can't wait for your next pack. Especially since I own a Helios and can't wait to hear what your profiles sound like. Other than the profile I did with my Torpedo live and put up on the exchange, I have not really tried to profile my amp. Quite frankly, your profiles that I use live are so good, I didn't feel like I needed to. . Maybe now I will be able to use a Helios profile at gigs. Also looking forward to your Dirty Shirley profiles. So I say this with the utmost respect and appreciation. HURRY UP!

My favorite part is where the guitar tech says "that's it. there's not a lot to it" LOL

Which effect on the KPA is the most like the standard, traditional Whammy pedal?
-
I have done some and they are on the rig exchange. search "robert wedewer" and you can find mine. Disregard the Jubilee profile. Turns out I had a bad preamp tube in V1. The Bogner ones were all done with the Torpedo live using an Engl 412 with Vintage 30's and a royer 121. Bear in mind, those profiles were my very first ones and I just tried different sounding speaker IR's till I found one that sounded best. The best part, is they were basically done in almost complete silence with my wife and kids sleeping up stairs. I tend to like darker tones, so its how my amp is set. Should give you and idea of the sound quality as compared to a real mic.
I did some direct profiles last night using just the load with no speaker IRs l and then used some ownhammer IR"s that I have loaded on the kemper and they sounded pretty good. Thinking I might sell the Torpedo and get the new Suhr loadbox to do direct profiles and just use IR's loaded on to the Kemper. I have heard the Suhr load my be better than the Two Notes.

Question guys. So I am going to get an expression pedal to strictly use for wah. Not volume or anything else. Should I get the EP1K or just the standard EP1? Second, if I got the EP1k right now, will it still work as a wah with the remote without needing the switching function working?
