It is truly amazing that the Kemper provides the ability to be able to "play through" ridiculous amounts of amps/cabinets/mics/preamps that I would never be able to get my hands on, let alone fit in my studio/home. Bravo Christoph and the team!
Longtime Kemper user (since late 2014), first time linking to an original song here on the forum. This tune was written and recorded over the past few months, and was initially inspired by a song featured in one of Rhett Shull's YouTube videos ("How to make your Helix or Kemper FEEL like the real thing") from late February of this year. All guitar and bass sounds are from the Kemper, with the majority coming from MBritt's 2020 pack, and the remainder being freebies (not at all meant as a slight against them) either from Kemper Rig Packs or the Rig Exchange. I experienced a similar problem today, where immediately after updating to Rig Manager 3.0.136, RM wasn't connecting to my Profiler. Thanks to soulrebelno1, I gave updating the driver a try, but Windows indicated that no driver updates were available. A few computer reboots and Profiler restarts later, RM and my Profiler are magically talking to each other again! I too had a Windows 10 update this past week. Something fishy is going on...
Update: I did find a "Windows has updated the driver associated with this device" message relating to the Profiler hiding behind a bunch of other windows. Thanks (again!) soulrebelno1!
Bought the 2020 Pack yesterday, and haven't (yet!) made it past the first profile (13 LDW 3), which to my ears is perfect for getting Trey Anastasio's tone from "Stash". Thanks Michael for keeping the great profiles coming!
Thanks much for the clean profile! After listening to the "No Guitar Is Safe" podcast episode featuring Jim Campilongo today I went searching for some profiles of this type of amp, and really dug yours.
Brilliant post @skoczy! I too had missed the "3rd soft button" rating feature, thinking I could only rate rigs after I downloaded them. I just previewed GRStudios' "GRS MBTOV 20" rig, and totally digging it, used the soft button method to rate it. Surprisingly, my rating isn't showing up in Rig Manager, but does appear to be on the Rig Exchange website - which sounds kind of similar to what @dpeters95 mentioned.
Similar problem here, at least the "rig manager not picking up the rigs on my Kemper" portion. When I've started Rig Manager as of late, it shows zero rigs on my Profiler, and has to resync them all - which takes a while. I believe I'm running the latest versions of both RM and the Profiler, and this behavior started well after I had updated both.
