Just bought the Humbucker pack, some nice sounds going on there. Thanks
Still use my Mk IIC+ and Tone Kings. Wouldn't consider getting rid.
My pedal is working properly again with the new 3.1.2 firmware release.
Some people appear to be having problems, and some do not.
What Pedal inputs and settings are you using? Problem or not?
I just have it set up as Pedal #2 controlling volume, switched back to 3.0.2 and it works fine on full sweep.
Pedal calibration is now way off on my old Roland EV5 with this 3.1 Beta firmware. Worked fine with previous version, but with this release the first 75% of swell does nothing then its all in your face with the last 25%. Clearly something not right.
Original 50s era Les Pauls were Nylon. Historics/Reissues/Custom shop LPs I believe are now mostly Corian. They can all be a pain in the butt unless cut perfectly and are probably the weakest link on a LP. In addition to the reissue Volume pots lol.
Take it to a Tech and have the nut filed/recut and set up properly. I've played LPs for over 40 years all needing nut work at some stage. As mentioned above nuts (and frets) cut on Gibson's Plek machine which only does as good a job as the guy using it. Plastic nuts are fine especially the Corian material ones.
Yes it's good thanks. I can nail MTV on a LP but I just cant seem to get that tone above. I know its in there somewhere lol
Interesting, me too I play some of MKs stuff - 58 LP R8 with original 58 Pafs but can't find anything suitable rig wise.
This is the sound I'm chasing after
Alnico 4 Paf's (93 LP Standard)
Alnico 3 & 4 Paf's (Spare)
Gibson Custombuckers (R8)
EMG 81s (Custom Pensa)
Texas Specials (Strats)
Not for me at any price........
Very impressed with that.
It would be nice having keyboard shortcuts in the Rig Manager for it's basic features like rating, marking as favorite etc. I know there are some shortcuts which appear with right clicking on a rig, I think these should be extended for all RM's features.
+1
Well, i've only had my rack profiler less than 48 hours so i'm certainly no expert, but from what i've heard it do so far personally i think it sounds great and the factory preset rigs are fine. Just out of interest how have you got it set up, signal chain, monitoring etc?
Oups, Should be better here:

Nope, still 404 on both......
Oh, OK! (I haven't read the manual about that yet, so expect more than 5 minutes...)
In the meantime, here's a couple of thing made with KM - Noobe Clean,

Both links showing 404 error......
Hi and thanks. I'm currently using 2 passive (and rather ancient) RAMSA WS-A200s driven by a peavey XR86000 powered mixer and although it sounds great, i plan to get some active monitors at some stage which i think will do the KPA better justice. I've just bought some Reinhardt Storm 33 profiles from TAF this afternoon and just trying them out now with a Les Paul, they sound really good. Need to get a Fender brownface Vibrolux 63 rig also
Solved guy's thanks to both of you. The problem was indeed that the channel strip Phase switch was on, resulting in a 180 inversion i guess. I've just had the Jog wheel replaced by TEAC on the unit and i think it's probably something that has inadvertently happened when the unit was in for repair. Anyway, all is good now thanks again for the help.
Well, got it today and spent a good few of hours playing with it. Have to say i think its absolutely brilliant piece of gear, well engineered and designed. Had the latest firmware release too so i guess its pretty much fresh from the factory. I thought most of the rig presets i went through sounded great too . Have one small issue when i connected up the L and R Main ouputs (Stereo) to my portastudio multitrack recorder, when i bring up the mixer channel faders there's a weird (presumably) phase cancellation going on and when both faders are matched level there's no sound output. If i increase or drop one of the faders on either one of the channels i get full volume again, i've never encountered that before so need to investigate whats happening there. Other than that its exactly what i hoped it would be and a lot more.
