You can control nearly anything via expression pedal by using the morph function. By doing this, you can free up footswitches, but you can't free up slots (A-D, X-Reverb), as you have to set up the effects there, if you want to control them via expression pedal.
ah, I found it:
fixed: accidental inverted display
They should include this as a switchable option. I actually like it.
have you checked the release notes? I remember they said something about fixing inverted displays.
No I haven't. But it didn't happen after an update but after a reset of the system settings.
FYI: I'm still on 7.0 beta.
I just reset the system settings of my toaster by booting in tuner mode while holding down the system button.
Now my display looks like this:
I kind of like it but haven't seen it before and didn't find any settings, where this can be changed.
Did anyone see this before?
Boss does something similar in the GT1000.
They don't lock the on/off state but you can create global stompboxes. I don't remember how it works in detail, but you can create a (let's call it) stompbox1 and add it in every preset you like.
When you change some settings in stompbox1, these settings are changed globally everywhere, where stompbox1 is used.
This isn't exactly like locking something performance wide, but it can help with organizing rigs using the same effects.
However, what Burkhard said could work for live use: Set the same delay in every performance slot, the lock the delay slot while using this performance. When you change to a different performance, you have to unlock it. This could be a workaround for people who want to lock something just in one performance..
Adjust the volume in the amp section, not the rig volume.
I wish they would have this ready to release when they make the announcement.
We waited almost 6 months for the reverbs to show up.
That's how different people are. Many complained that Kemper doesn't tell, what future updates will bring or don't comment on some user wishes.
Others are unhappy of they announce something which isn't ready for release yet.
Not an easy situation for a company.
Is it that future proof? Should I be looking for some other company who is hungry enough to take better care of their users?
I don't know a company which has released and supported a similar product for a longer time than Kemper has done it these days. If you can name one feel free to share out with us.
If it's just one pedal which has to be switched on and off and if you have a spare preamp slot, using the KPA's loop and controlling it via remote is a very comfortable way to go.
Try turning the browse knob.
Isn't 415 Hz A flat / G#?
Can you achieve this by tuning one half step down?
As I bought all of Bert's packs and really enjoy them, I will buy the new pack right now!
Too bad, I missed the introductory discount, as I haven't been here for a while and didn't carefully read my mails, but I guess the new pack is worth the 50 bucks
Can't wait to play these profiles later tonight or tomorrow!
Have you tried morphing direct mix?
Perhaps turning up direct mix can lead to good results with also morphing gain or volume down (I guess the direct sound is affected by volume as well, but I haven't tried it for myself)
I'm unable to achieve the "garbled" Tom Morello Whammy Pitch sound (as on such tracks as Bullet In The Head) with my Kemper, even with "Smooth Chords" turned off. Does anyone have a solution for this, or do I need to go and buy an old Whammy pedal?
I tried to achieve this sound with the Kemper and I failed. I actually bought a Whammy pedal just for this one sound.
Post stack?
I have experienced this problem as well, but I haven't had a pedal connected to the remote for a while.
Also like Pixelman, I read about other people having these issues somewhere on the forum.
I going to check if this problem still occurs with my setup.
Instead of buying this, I'd spend more time looking for suitable profiles. There must be a profile somewhere which suits you well. If not, I'm not sure, the Mooer Preamp will help either.
I think it's possible with the remote if you switch off morphing. Maybe I can try it tomorrow or perhaps someone can confirm this.
