Yeah - thanks for the reply. I had tried that first and what I got searching for Dill was some rather nice Friedman Browneye profiles from Nov 2015 - no Sovtek Mig50. Maybe they are no longer up there.

Sovtek profiles? Do tell. Any links?

Good stuff, Dan, really good. The versatility of this amp - with all the tone options from the 9 modes on offer - is really coming through and I think the Fortin 33 clean boost works really well in front of this amp.
-
The Savage set is excellent and the DIs sound fantastic with the other cabs I've tried - great work again, Nick. Merged profiles coming - what's not to like?

I tried these with a Les Paul and liked them a lot. They seem very lively and the clean+ to crunch range had plenty of gain with my HB pickups. With your cab with the G12H they are good but I thought these would lend themselves to Alnico Blue/Silver/Gold style cabs too. I locked some other cabs on the KPA and auditioned your profiles with the other cabs and liked the results very much - lots of driven Vox style character with silver bell 2x12 cab from a 60s Vox TopBoost. It worked well with an impulse from a 2x12 cab with Creambacks I tried also.
I think these profiles are really lively and would encourage you to make some merged profiles of this amp as I think it could really work with a wide range of cabs. The ef 86 seems to work pretty well for DrZ so maybe you guys are onto something

I'm a bit confused? I still got the MXR.
Yeah - I was just wondering if the MXR Wylde is still a product I could find on the market or whether it was something ZW did with a licensing deal with MXR some years back that has lapsed from the MXR product range and is no longer available. I saw what pedals you used as boosts on the Orange AD-140 - they are tagged in the comments which is good practice by you BTW.
If you select the "Amp Comment" field in RE you can see all of them (boosts used) at a glance.

The 33 has just come out, brand new.
Yeah - I was asking about the MXR Wylde.
-
its actually a clean boost.
Yeah - I read the product info stuff on the manufacturer's site when it you announced it. Seems like the clean boost does the job for my tastes. Your MXR Wylde pedal sounds pretty good too on most amps - is that a current product or are we talking something that was on sale some years back?

Fortin 33 driven profiles seem like the best of the over driven ones tone-wise.
-
Fortin 33 goes down well with OJ apparently. Good stuff.

Turns out the problem wasn't your profiles
I just downloaded the HiWatt set again, unzipped the archive and import failed as before. I have never had this with rigs before.
To check this out further - I shut down and restarted Rig Manager which is the latest PC beta and after a restart import of the profiles fine. (whew!)
Funny thing is - this build has imported plenty of profiles since it was last restarted.
-
Freebies look like xxx.kipr rig files but Rig Manager will not import them - error message that only Rigs and Performances can be imported.

Great work on these Deadpan - some of the best I've heard of this amp. Dynamite.
-
Nice work on these profiles. Tried the Steavens, the Helios and The BE(ast) - all work really well for me. The choice of cabs is really appreciated - love the variety of GB style speakers ( 20 W )
There is a great Steavens freebie on RE that I go back to a lot so I was really glad to get more where that one came from. The Poundcake would have to be one of the best rock monsters ever to have stomped the earth.

I know who Frank aka @Eltzejupp is but who is this guy Peter Thorn???
Does that mean you're doin' a PT100 next? Awesome!

Gonna grab the jcm and 30th anniv. when both are available. Gathering marshalls from all the vendors is a fine sport in itself.
Jubilee is already there:

They sound great, Dan. Any chance of the JCM800 getting some Fortin attention?
-
I've been a massive fan of Fields of the Nephilim since I first heard Dawnrazor when it came out.
I was completely blown away today when their guitarist, Gav King, messaged me, telling me he is using my TMS JCM800 pack for his live sound.
"Killer tone" he said.
I'm actually going to see them in London in December so it will be surreal to hear the JCM800 profiled in my studio on the songs.I'm with Gav here. Mick's JCM800 set is a phenomenal pack - the tones with the greenbacks in the 425B are fantastic and well worth the 8 euro on their own and then there's the directs outs - and jeez - there are 7 more cabs for days that end in Y.
What is not to like.

Hi @Antipodes of course. Next batch of 15 profiles are gonna be from total clean to brake up and crunchy.
OK - just what the Doctor ordered
-
Hi Ivan,
Nice rock patches - sounding great in the demos. Will you include some clean/low gain/just breaking up patches with this set. BE-100 has really nice clean channel for funk etc.
