Thanks for all these cab variations, Dan. 58 Studio profiles and counting - excellent value. I love the tone and punch of this amp and the range of mics and cabs make it the gift that keeps on giving. Are merged versions still in the plan? - I see the "merged" folder is there in the archive. Some of these cabs would do some serious damage with your direct pack profiles.

Stella demos? Does she?
Yeah - she is some kinda Artoist, I believe. -
Stellar demos - as usual.

Thanks for these, Dan.

Excellent profile Jesse. Thanks for sharing - your amp/cab/recording chain could support a whole set of profiles.

The batch of profiles date May 9th 2016 - Dirty Shirley and Friedman BE100 - sound absolutely great with my SSH guitars. Fantastic results with the Avatar Cab/Royer/SM57 - both speakers sound great but the Scumback comes out on top for me.

These profiles sound pretty good - quite a range of very usable Marshall tones. As far as the cab goes, the Bloody Rocka set uses similar Creamback 65's in a quadbox but the mic used was a condenser (MC-200) I believe. The BR cab is quite a bit brighter and works well with the merged profiles as do others I tried. I guess adding another mic with a more extended top end (condenser or ribbon) and placing one of the mics closer to the cap would give a brighter sound.

Very tasty set this one Jimi. That Cab sounds excellent. Borrowing it from the merged profiles it sounds awesome with the pretty much any Vox profiles - like your 63 Vox etc.

Put your favourite cabs on those MBritt profiles and they will cover a lot of ground. There is quite a nice recent freebie on RE as well "Doc VH4 M" which is a channel 4 profile.

Very impressed with this pack which keeps on getting better with more profiles every time I turn around. Lots of great tones - this TH30 is doing the business with my LP using both the DL and the Mesa cabs. Kudos to Dan for his engineering. Keep them coming.
-
Thanks for these Dan. The PR20/K100 sounds particularly good but all 3 are going to be useful.

Thanks, the vintage modern is one I like more than most modern marshalls and I liked your freebie profile too. Was that with the extra gain stage active of just the cranked vintage pre-amp?
-
What cabs are used with the 2466 VM marshall? I checked but your freebie profile doesn't specify the cab details.

Clean patches were my favourites too - they work beautifully with trem effects. Thanks for sharing these.

IMO all of the mentioned packs have their charms although TAF from pack2 has some of my favorites - the clean patch is something else. TAF had another crack at the Vox in TAF10 BTW - using new mic techniques.
One thing that is worth trying with these sets is swapping the cabs around. Eg put TAF's cabs on Pete's DI rigs and put TopJimi's cab with teh vintage speakers on any of the others - the range of tones expands considerably.
Don't forget Hays and R.U.Sirius (among other freebies) in the AC15/30 dept.

Wow! Thanks a lot for sharing.

Thanks to Djemass and Deadlight Studio for this excellent JP 2C profile and the Mesa OS cab. This sort of sharing/collaboration is a great thing about the KPA community. That Mesa cab works a treat with all kinds of DI profiles BTW - egs MBritt's Driftwood DI profiles, Dan's (Reampzone) DI profiles.

Great going, Guido. I hope the next year has as many highlights as this last.

You are right about that cab - sounds great with direct profiles like Tim Owen's Friedman direct profiles. Thanks for the tip.
