Gorgeous demos there Guido. The cleaner patches could cover jazz, reggae, clean Bassman style blues. Amazingly versatile set.

Thanks for the steady stream of freebies - much appreciated. I have the Single Rec set and was wondering about the ETA of studio profile addons - are you planning on using your DL cab?
-
Have you tried doing some sorts of the database - click on the date column header, click on it again to get the reverse order sort. Also get the exact name of a profile and search for it. Sometimes, when someone announces a new upload, the date on the profile is months or weeks old already and it appears well down the list.

Nice profile. Thanks for sharing. I tried it as is and also with some borrowed cabs inserted afterwards in the amp section - very useful.

Renaming utilities are to be found online - eg CKRename if you are on PC.
Kemper does not accept long impulse responses and works at a fixed sampling rate. The selections offered by Ownhammer are the ones for the job.

More excellent rigs from Hays. Thanks for these and your generosity over the years.
If anyone hasn't checked them out yet, there were 80 odd profiles from Hays on RE - many gems.

I wondered whether the Paypal thing relates to ordering an item for the same price from the same vendor. The message I got when payment failed implied in the first line that this payment had already been made - possibly mistaking my previous order for the new one.

The spectrum of tones in the Shiva set is really broad - lots of great sounds to work with. The Framus, DrZ and Shiva cover a huge range. I find that the tones in these sets can be the starting point for further exploration because they work so well with other cabs too - just lock a cab from another profile you like and work your way through the presets. Being Studio profiles doesn't seem to limit the possibilities.

Hi Guido,
PP seems to be on the blink just now. "problem with the merchant's pp account"
Edit: this worked a bit later with a change of browser.

The clean patches in Andy's (TAF) Farewell pack (#10) are something to check out. The cleaner profiles of the Marshall 800 and the Blackstar (among others) are top class - clarity and warmth.

Check ouit the AS Sure Badge from the latest 4.0 factory profiles set. This is a Soundside clean profile of a Suhr Badger using an Elwood quadbox with 4x V30s. I like it a lot with single coils.
-
You're quite welcome.
Just to clarify, the other profile was a Celestion V-Type. It's very different from a V30.
OK - thanks for the clarification - will have to read up on the specs of the V-type
-
Thanks a lot for these two profiles - the V30 and Creamback - Splawn streetrod profiles. The comparison is illuminating and the tones are both very usable. Much obliged.

@wedewer - are you taking the sound off the camera mic or from the KPA?

I have installed OS 4 beta. In patches where a delay was installed in the usual slot, this now shows as Legacy Delay as expected. I am not seeing Legacy Delay or any other "delay" when I scroll through effects from the Delay slot or any of the others. WTF?

I generally find that if someone posts that they have uploaded rigs, I can locate them straight away using the strategy I mentioned above. Before I used that method, I would look at RE in RM and they would not be there yet. From what I gather some rigs are getting pulled from RE which would explain the changes in rig count.
-
There is no way to refresh RM currently - a bit of an oversight you would think.
At present. you have to close and reopen RM and then resort the list by date after it has had time to load the new ones to the top of the list.

I am really liking the cleaner Sunn Beta Lead patches HamerJo has put on RE - esp V2. Beautiful with LP/335 type H/Bs. Pretty sweet for brighter janglier single coil sounds too. Cab used was 2 x Alnico Blue from the notes.

These are really excellent rock tones - paired them with a Mesa Oversize cab and they were glorious. Thanks so much.
