Similar here, just a very basic and cheap no-name power conditioner (30 Euros at Amazon). Not a single problem during the last years.

A few weeks ago we played a gig on an excursion boat (about 250 people). We had our complete pa on it, in total about 6 kW. Everything worked flawless.

With Neutrik SilentPlugs you won't have any problems with noise when unplugging the cable.

I use only these types of connectors for my instruments (my bandmates do so as well), also on wireless systems. Works great, no problems at all.

Usually I build my own instrument cables using a Neutrik SilentPlug on "Sommer Spirit XXL" cables:

There are ready-to-use cables with SilentPlug available, e.g. "Cordial CRI 9 RP Silent":

I ordered, already received and tested a pair "Behringer MPA200BT".

Here is a short comparison to the "Yamaha DXR10" and "Bose S1 Pro".

    Behringer MPA200BT vs. Yamaha DXR10

The MPA200BT are a bit less dynamic, but still quite good. The sound is more "british, but well balanced, I couldn't notice any unpleasant peaks. Their maximum volume level is (as was to be expected) less than the DXR10's, estimated about 60%. From a certain point the MPA200BT's limiter does it's work.

Behringer MPA200BT vs. Bose S1 Pro
The S1 Pro seems to have more bass, but I guess this is just a trick ;) At low and medium volumes both speakers sound good. The maximum level of the MPA200BT is noticeably higher than the S1 Pro's, I guess about 30%.

    I paid 279€ for one Behringer MPA200BT.

Conclusion: for sure there are better sounding and more powerful speakers in this price category, but these are battery powered! The sound quality is good and a pair would be ok for about 20-30 people at high (not extreme) volume levels.

IMHO the only competitor is the much more expensive Bose S1 Pro.

If you have to be independent from the power grid, you might have a look at the Behringer MPA200BT, these are really nice small and mobile speakers.

I tested the speakers with both KPA and some up-to-date music productions (e.g. Judas Priest - Firepower).

Some interesting details and photos of the MPA200BT can be found here:

A few months ago I got a new Steinberger Spirit GT Pro.

The original pickups' sound just was average, I replaced them with Seymour Duncan "Invaders" SH-8B / SH-8N. I don't need the middle pickup, so I removed it and placed a dummy there. The 5-way switch was replaced with a 3-way switch. As I also don't need the tone pot I removed this and covered the hole with a simple plastic cap.

Additional modifications: STADG06 Adapter for using standard strings (non double ball end) Daddario NYXL0946, Dunlop Straploks.

    This one rocks!

With our metal band we'll play a gig in a streetcar/tram (about 40 guests) and we already have a quite strong and loud battery powered PA for it. For an even distribution of the sound in the whole vehicle we want to use some additional speakers with "average" power.

The Behringer MPA40BT, MPA100BT or MPA200BT could be suitable for our needs, but unfortunately these are not at stock at any of my local dealers so I can't compare or check them out.
One of my local dealers had a Bose S1 Pro, which sounded good, but was not loud enough and IMHO the price is too high.

Does any of you have any experience with the Behringer MPA or suggestions for other suitable battery powered speakers?

I have absolutely no clue if it's better. I played around with it a bit last night, but I think I am pretty much using the same features that I was in 8. Probably not a necessary upgrade if you're happy with 8 imho

Of course, mix history is a great feature.

Ah, ok... thank you. I think upgrading is not necessary for my needs, but I will have a look at it.

Wow 120dB....that’s pretty amazing. I’m not knowledgeable enough to attempt this, nor do I have the time to learn it all, but great job!

    Thank you, Calaban! :)

I did not (and will not) check it, but for the Kemper Remote a "wireless ethernet bridge" might work.

    Components needed:

    - two wireless bridge adapters, e.g. "Vonets VAP11G-300"
    https://www.amazon.com/Vonets-…-Amplifier/dp/B014SK2H6W/

    - USB power supply

    - PoE injector (DC / battery powered), e.g. "EpicTinker Simple POE Injector"
    https://www.epictinker.com/Sim…-Injector-p/simplepoe.htm

    - suitable battery pack to supply the PoE injecor and one of the wireless bridge adapters
I recommend "Eneloop Pro" rechargeable AA batteries

This is just a rough idea, not a guarantee for a working solution!

To control my Kemper I've been using a wireless bi-directional MIDI-system for two years now and I am still pleased about it, it's totally reliable. For the guitar audio signal I use a "out of the box" wireless system.

On stage my whole system is ready to go in less than three minutes. I just need to plug in one power cable for my rack and the FOH audio connection, then switch on the wireless floorboard... finished!

Definitely the offer to create a comparison video is very kind of him.

I know and heard a lot of studio monitors and FRFR speakers, but I would not be able to recognize any specific model or judge the quality on a recording, even if I knew all the components used.
As most people in this forum know, it can be sufficient to move the microphone a few centimetres to cause a strong change in sound. I would not be able to tell if in a comparison video the seemingly better sounding FRFR speaker is really the better one. Maybe for one speaker the microphone was just in a unfavourable and for the other one in a perfect position.

Related to speakers IMHO the only way to make a meaningful judgment, is to have them physically next to each other. Ideally if you compare them in a room with acoustics you know well and songs/mixes/sounds you also know well.

IMHO creating comparison videos related to the sound of speakers makes no sense at all, because there are so many other components in the signal chain that significantly influence the sound. Even if you'll use 100.000$ high end audio recoding equipment it will still be useless, it's just impossible to achieve *exactly* the same sound.

There are thousands of such useless videos on YouTube of people saying "Hey, listen to the awesome sound of my new amp"... recorded with the microphone a smartphone

So you can not judge or compare the sound of two FRFR speakers on a video, you have to be physically in the same room with them.
