How do you find the form factor @sambrox? I was considering one of these but thought I might prefer a pack on the guitar strap to the bulky looking plug. I haven't seen one in person though so I'm curious of your opinion on it.

Hi all,
Having really digged the sound of a Hamstead amp from a couple That Pedal Show videos on YouTube I was wondering if anyone had one of these bad boys and were willing to make some profiles?

@foosinn, check out an earlier discussion about this topic here: Wired iems systems
I posted in that thread about the wired setup I use and I am happy to report it still serves me well.

Wow, that looks great @pauljoy! I don't suppose you could snap a picture of how your KPA sits inside it?
-
exactly. if anybody has an issue with a bag we've sold, please get in touch with us by email. We certainly do not open every box and inspect the item inside, so if there's something wrong with the QA (which we don't do) we appreciate to know.
thanks, gsOk, thanks for that, I will take some pictures of my bag today and send you a support mail about it.
The bag IS a pretty penny. For the cost of 2 of them I commissioned a custom case. "Carry On" flight bag style. I had been using a rolling bag purchased at a craft shop which fit everything but I get nervous trucking it and the remote in soft bags. Almost bought the Namba but got a good enough price on my case. Should be here in a week or so...
Sounds good! Do you have any details or pictures? Would it be possible for others to order the same?
-
I've had mine for over 3 years and it still works well even though I gig a few times a week. I like that the KPA and remote are a snug fit with the remote cable in there as well.
It has a few small tears here and there but all in all I'm generally happy with it.
The bag is super portable in comparison to even a small rack unit and it can easily sit on the floor in front of the front seat of my car..
I've read opinions both ways before from users and to be honest it baffles me a bit with the quality, or lack of it, of the bag that I purchased. I have wondered if there were different batches of this bag with different materials or level of quality control.
-
Not to pile on but I have to say I'm not super happy with the quality of mine either.
I haven't used it with the shoulder strap so I haven't had that problem exactly but most of the velcros have come loose and are only attached partially and the seam near the top of the inner lining has come apart so I have to be careful to put the Kenper in so it doesn't rip further.
i wish there was a better bag available, I don't want the weight of a hard case.
Edit: I like the layout of the bag, it is very practical with the pockets and such I just don't feel like I can trust it fully to load them all up with stuff

@Steven_nl, would you be willing to put up a clip comparing the ventilator to the built in rotary simulator? Would love to hear a comparison!

Oh of course. Now my brain wasn't working either! Thanks, @Ingolf

There's the Ibanez Mikro guitars, here for example:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com…m21-mikro-electric-guitar
I tried one in a music store, it wasn't set up super well but I could imagine it being ok with some TLC. A thing that at first threw me off was the rubbery feel of it, due to the short scale the strings are rather flabby compared to what I'm used to on a more regular sized guitar and it made it harder to play in tune. That wouldn't really be an issue for someone starting out, and would maybe even make it easier and more forgiving to play. Also easier string bends.

Thanks much for your review, @Ingolf! I value your opinions on this forum as I have read your posts across many threads.
I didn't have time to reply but I followed the thread through the week and went from almost getting one myself to now being back in the saving-up-for-a-sennheiser camp.
For now I'll keep my cabled setup and when I have the money I'll probably go for a Sennheiser+Line6 setup. My band just got a new Mackie mixer and a spiffy new rack setup, in which the 4 channel Behringer headphone amp fits nicely so for now the cables aren't too much of a hassle.

What sad news!
I have to say, I've been - and continue to be - supremely satisified with the profiles I've bought from you @and44. From the Custom shop AC30 to the Victory Pack to the Vintage & Rare pack. All wonderful profiles that I use.
Looking forward to your last blow out pack, and I wish you the best of luck in your projects going forward.

Messed up guitar and headphone input?
Who would ever do that? I don't know what you are talking about!

Thanks for the cable tips @malleus! I don't mean to derail the thread but to add to the cable options, I've been using the Rock On Audio CAB-001. It's a ready to use solution, but the downside to it is that it is just two cables in a sock so it is prone to getting a bit tangled inside. Not a big deal so far and I have been careful to treat it well when I roll it up.
I am also using a Fischer amps bodypack but I'm getting my mix from the board, through a Behringer headphone amp.
Although now with @Ingolfs review of the Wi Digital Audiolink I might have to try that!

Thinking about it I'm surprised that nobody else seems to do this (i.e. selling an IEM that works in the digital 2.4 GHz domain like the Line 6 relay does. […]My thought exactly. I can't believe there's not a bigger market for this, if it keeps what it promises: clean good sound without interference for cheaps. The Line6 stuff has become the standard in the space, so why isn't there a similar big standard in-ear product?
