Given that the KPA can't profile modulation or delay, it wouldn't be possible to get the whole tone "baked in"
eljodon is also correct that the effect has to be at very least, after the pre-amp, but preferably after the power amp.
In my days as a touring guitarist, I used a h3000 in my Bradshaw system, but after some trial and error, our foh guy and I decided that it actually worked better after the mic.
For convenience and control reasons, it stayed in my rack but in the studio was always after the mic.
For best results, a wet, dry, wet, setup is the way to go.

The "Eventide h3000" was indeed the effect on his guitar however, the specific effect is "Micro pitch"
It would have been -9/+9 cents, not semitones.
I think the kemper may be able to do this, but I'm not at the studio to confirm.
"Sound toys" "Micro Shift" will nail the sound if added in post.

How are you monitoring the Kemper?
It may be a routing issue. -

I agree about the editor, but usb audio?
This, I believe, would probably, require a hardware update.Small Audio interfaces are cheap enough that if you can afford to buy a kemper, you can probably stretch to a small interface or sound card.

You spent all that money before looking into what the unit does and doesn't do?
I don't think you have any grounds to be dissatisfied.

a bad pianist, on a piano, sounds better than, a good guitar player playing samples of a piano ,on a guitar.

reminds me of when the Fairlight first came along.
We all said "it can sound exactly like a ......"
It turned out, that it couldn't. -
having 900 rigs in your Kemper, is a one way road to madness, imho
-
one of the Britt packs has some Freedman Dirty Shirley profiles that do a great AC/DC.
Can't remember which one though. -
I highly recommend the MBritt profiles.
Maybe try his Marshall pack and see what you think. -
Mainly I'm just wanting to express my disappointment at the current Rig Manager. The way it communicates with my Kemper is clunky and inconsistent.
yes!

I've had D6, Rhodes and Wurly through mine.
