its really making me wonder why with so many wanting this that we hear nothing on an editor. we are adults here...if there are no plans for one we will have to deal with it and we can stop threads like this. if there is something coming down the pipe i dont think we need a "surprise" or christmas gift type of feel to it. we would just like to know one way or another......

i guess the silence from the top tells the story here. too bad . i think a lot of people have made it clear that they would like to have an editor. to me its just as important as delays and other features but for some reason this is not going to happen. time to move on from this dream....

How many exactly? 20-30?
ps. There is already an editor built into Kemper.[/quote]
not sure what you are talking about..20-30 people wanting an editor or 20 -30 explanations from the big guys that i missed?
p.s. and im also talking about an editor for the computer that some of us want and im sure you knew that... -
why cant we just hear an explanation from the big guns of why there has not been an editor or will not be an editor and put this to rest. i am still amazed that a unit this costly cannot develop an editor that is clearly wanted by many..

sounds great! excellent vocals too.

Well... while I DO think there should be an editor, my personal opinion is that it's an exaggeration to say there's a need for one with the Kemper. With my AX8 or any other FAS product, the editor is definitely a requirement with the vast number of possible adjustments. With the Kemper, I don't think I'm mistaken in saying that Kemper (the company) designed the Profiler to not need an editor. I think it succeeds.
That said, the primary valid argument I see for an editor is in the studio where you don't necessarily want the Profiler on your desk, or maybe you want it in a rack where it's not easily accessible.
like you said...its just your personal opinion. my personal opinion is to have an editor. everything has an editor that i use and i feel more comfortable using one rather than physically tweaking. a lot of others feel the same from past threads. no one knows why there is no editor yet. -

nice job sonic. what a great tune to choose.
-
nice playing and good tone. thanks for sharing . i will have to try that patch.
-
sounds good, thanks!

but if $2000 is spent on a kpa im sure a few people would expect an editor from the company. seems like its pretty much standard with most equipment i have purchased. i would not expect to have to pay for a 3rd party editor. just my opinion .

sorry guys. maybe i worded my statement wrong . i guess im not as patient as some on this matter.. ive had my rig for a while now and would really rather work with an editor and thought it would be here by now .seems like there were a few threads on the subject for a while and now i haven't heard much.
-
so , have i missed something or is everybody ok with not having an editor by now? personally i would really love to see an editor more than the morphing feature.
-
well that answers my problem . i am on 3.2.1 also and i got that same error message with a lock up.i sent you a pm mats. no need to respond. thanks for the rigs. i will have to upgrade after my gig this weekend.
-
yeah mats ...good playing and tone. i am going to check out this clean profile tonight at band rehearsal . also your black goop lead is feeling pretty good with my luke III musicman. i will try both out tonight. thanks for the profiles.

i had one for a couple years and i sold it about 6 months ago. nice well built guitar. played awsome. i just didnt play it much. watch out though, if you dont like it, its hard to sell at least in my case. i had to chop off about 800 bucks to sell it. i also had the pattern neck and nobody seemed to want that style neck in my situation. good luck though. they make nice guitars.
