nice tones pvgmusic and welcome to the forum!

bert, used a handful of your profiles exclusively at my new years gig and the sound man loved them FOH. mainly i dug the tones i was getting also. good stuff!
-
gotta keep tryin', dean....

wow! to think they can do that . must have been an easier update than an editor!
-
or a switch that opens up an editor!

"fuchs ods50 cln" is one of them. and "redplate cds2 bf dirt" and "redplate cds2 bf clean" i think the dirt one was one that i modified and named it. i put a distortion in the stomp section for a little hair.

theres a couple of redplate amp profiles on rig exchange that i use for a few 70's funk stuff. also i just purchased the burt muelendijk profiles . it has a great soldono clean on it.also a couple of fuch profiles i use on rig exchange. hope that helps.

That IS a very nice profile by Bert (CA 3+ ch3 A)
+1. thats my new lead tone now for solos that need some hair on them. got a gig new years and will be creating a performance patch or two with this rig. also i am using the solduru clean 1 and vempi chan 4 lead patches.cant wait to hear the sound guys take on these. -

usually i gig with an in-ear system with kemper direct out to board . last night i played with some friends using my yamaha dx 10 as cab. my question is ...how do you guys create your patches? i mean do you tweak with a monitor like the dx 10 at stage volume or seeing that i use in-ear system do i tweak my rigs with my in-ear system? hope im making sense. curious to hear how anyone approaches this.

I personally feel that after all this time it must be quite clear at Kemper HQ that the majority of users would be positive 'pro editor'.
No doubt about it.
That said, obviously this hasn't been the top priority feature request in Kemper's books (and IMO rightfully so).
And it's always better and makes a more mature impression to simply voice your opinion about a certain feature request.
All the 'the editor must happen now or the Profiler is not competitive any more' rants are so childish and immature when actually the opposite seems to be true (that more and more pros go Kemper) that I imagine CK must be constantly shaking his head reading posts like these.
i think that the "childish rants" are just built from frustration. im sure nobody means no harm, just want an editor and theres a lot of speculations being thrown around of the inside workings of the kemper company. i guess it would be good to hear from an inside source if an editor of some kind is going to happen or not. and put things to rest. -
i guess im not following. and i know nothing about programming.whats wrong with just improving on rig manager. it can already read and send some information. addind the ability to tweak effects and some other parameters would go a long way with me.

I an not sure, if they really wait for such events to publish me features...
But maybe.
In that case, I would hope for an editor...
id imagine that if there is no editor this far along and with it asked for numerous times that there seems to be no plans for one. -
so im still using 1.3 rig manager. is 1.5 . (whatever) stable? i guess i haven't been following , what sort of new things can be done coming from 1.3.1 that i might be missing out on?

wow...just got the profile pack 3 mainly for the rockman (our band is doing some boston) and there are so many usable sounds. i may just use this pack for all songs next gig. great stuff mr britt.

yea cool video and some great sounds!

+1 for an editor. i keep going back and forth between the kemper and the axe. i love the sounds of the kemper but the ease of working with the editor with the axe is where i usually end up. im more comfortable tweaking on the computer than pushing physical buttons. rig manager is cool but as stated before almost every modeler has some sort of software editor. as long as im bitching here (sounds like it but not meant this way), i would also like to have some more effect choices . once again axe has some killer distortion pedals (imo) like tube driver and zendrive. sure would like to see some of this come the kemper way. i love the kemper tones . just my hopes for future tweaks.
