I started this week and I got some tips.
First buy an USB stick if you don't have one, then put it in the profiler if your firmware is not 3.0 or higher.
Download the latest firmware at http://www.kemper-amps.com/start
Then put that file into the OS that the Kemper put on your USB stick.
Then I'd suggest you instal Rig Manager.
What I did was throw everything out in Rig Manager and I bought And44's profiles which are sick! Awsum amps for around 120e or 70 pounds. It cost something but damn they are good. That way you don't have crappy profiles in your amp and everything is very much usable. Different profiles for Les Paul, Telecaster and Stratocaster sound 
Basically everything you need!
