Line 6 Hell... (stole this term from a forum brother, can't remember who though)
It was I who used it first, I believe. Here's the last time:
The gear your Kemper replaced - Page 2
At least one other forum member did so at a later date.
It ended up being Hell for me far many reasons, but the first few years were fine. I liked the POD 1 and xt for their simplicity, and the xt's LA2A-styled compressor was great, especially in the Bass POD version.

Yeah, a couple 'o hundred here too, and the same problem.
What I'd love is a "best-of" collection. Been meaning to start a thread requesting submissions for a while now...

LOL Fairy's muff, mate.
I was just havin' a go, as we say here in Oz... I mean, Jungleville.

Yeah, but I thought there were several algorithms, Paul.
No different from, say, hall vs room-reverb algorithms. Essentially the same parameter sets, but very different results for any given set of values. Know what I mean? So when I saw Kemper 1 and Kemper 2 or whatever, I assumed the algorithms were different.
I must've been looking at presets when I thought it was algorithms. Strange, as I've only ever used the left knob and not the right one so far. Hmm...

It does? I have 543 posts as of now and I've never had a star.
Dang. You know what? You've reminded me of something:I think I'm confusing stars with the assigned descriptive "status"! It was probably then that I progressed from being a "Beginner" or whatever to the next level.
Posts edited to reflect my ignorance. Well, they could never truly do that, but I gave it a go anyway.

We are having a beer on me brother if i do.
Probably best we use coasters, mate.I don't have a portable shower and the Port Phillip Bay's way too cold for you Queenslanders to rinse off in.

Yes, it seems firmware 4 beta addresses these features. 3 years later basic FX control is starting to be worked. Late but hey, at least!
Thanks for acknowledging that, soundroi. -

Makes sense to me.

If you can forego enough German brew, you'll be able to afford to visit and take advantage of my free offer. There's a $50 admission charge, by the way, 'cause I'm the best and you'll not get better results anywhere. -
Gee, thank you, Liam.

So... it doesn't matter which "Type" we choose first?
I assumed the algorithms were different. Is this not the case, Paul?

Correct, Paul.
Sorry man it was not an obvious thing to me. We disagree and it's all good. I'd rather get my review from someone who actually knows what they're doing (Not saying Justice, as I have no idea who he is)
People tend to overlook their own capabilities and criticize someone who is far more advanced in the field. Sure a beginner can have an opinion but it's just that, a beginners opinion.
I disagree in that I don't think we disagree, Anthony.Where I was coming from was that regardless of his experience, he has the right to express his opinion and be heard. Surely you agree with that?
Whether or not we agree with it (his opinion) is another issue, of course.
Regarding my comment that I'd rather hear the assessment of someone who's tested a product than that of someone who's based his judgement on hearsay alone, regardless of his experience, I'd like to think we'd be in agreement on that too.
Obviously it's all good, mate. Always glad to hear your opinion, regardless of your experience. This gets back to my statement that we're all treated equally around here.

IIRC, my first star appeared at around 100-150 posts, so that makes sense.
EDIT: I could well be mistaken. As I later said, I was probably confusing stars with assigned "status" (Beginner, etc.).

Thanks a lot! I appreciate the kind words. Yes, I tend to ramble a bit in my videos but I really try to explain and make things a simple as possible. I try to go into detail and not try to cram everything into a 5 min video. I plan on doing a lot of Kemper videos as my schedule allows. Hopefully 1 per week at least.
Thanks for watching and supporting my channel
Hey, no worries David.Funnily enough, I was going to use the word "ramble", but instead sweated over an alternative to putting it that way, hence my statement that I liked your "willingness to expand on things".
Now that you've effectively given me permission to go there, please, ramble away, 'cause I love it.

Been meaning to ask that myself for a while, mate.
So, which wah do we start with, fellow Kemperites?

I'm not convinced you got where I was coming from, Anthony.
... Most of us here treat everyone as the equals we are.
Obviously I was referring to the fact that we're all equals as humans, and the manner in which we treat each other here. This has nothing to do with professional status or a perceived hierarchy of experience. I simply felt that his paying for the Profile meant that if he had an opinion to share, it was his right to do so, regardless of his "status" or experience. I'll consider the opinion of a "beginner" who's actually used a product any day, whereas that of a "professional" who hasn't touched said product? Hmm...EDIT: I was thinking of the actual, albeit brief, assessment you made of the Profile when I wrote this. I'm not condoning the ad-hominem remarks.
Perhaps you missed my edit, made immediately after I submitted the post?Cheers mate.

Well, I wasn't far off then.
I like Joe's videos; he's always easy to understand, even for lil' ol' me.
Thank you for sharing, Harry.
