Well, if it makes you feel any better, I'm usually a week or two behind. No idea why.
As long as you've rebooted the app, which forces re-syncing to and updating with the Rig Exchange, there's nothing more you can do.
It seems that the extent to which one's copy of RM is up-to-date is somewhat dependant upon one's location, from what I can tell, but there may be a number of factors involved.
The good news is that we who're behind most of the time won't miss out on anything; we get it all, as Manuel from Fawlty Towers might say it, e-ven-tu-a-lly.

We love you mum, and appreciate everything you've done for us from the time you had to change our nappies 'til now...
Hang on... D'Oh!

... (in retrospect, I probably should have bought the profiles a pack at a time and taken my time to learn each amp inside and out instead of buying all his profiles at once, lol!)
James Duke once said in an online interview that you should learn the gear you have inside and out before making a decision and buying something else. The same logic applies to amps in the Kemper. I think I personally need to slow down and play each amp exclusively for a weekend service before writing any of them off.
Paul, you've learned in this very-short space of time what some of us never fully embrace. Sure, we're aware of the phenomenon, but somehow GAS sees us hankering after the next sparkling-new professional profile pack, manifesting a situation where many of us would surely be sitting on veritable goldmines... eating porridge and complaining that we can't afford to heat our tents... -
Well, if you consider graphing out what your entire neighbourhood had for breakfast whilst simultaneously forwarding in-depth analyses of the bowels of the Kemper's OS to tech support a good thing, then definitely the former!

Thank you for the further comfort-titty-mastication, Zappledan.

I hereby formally introduce... Nola111!
Welcome, mate!

Aarrgghh... but I've been waiting so long and the full release is imminent; you can feel it can't you?
The beta run must be coming to a close now as the stream of bug feedback has slowed to nary a trickle. Drip... drip... drip... Thank you for the feedback; I'll have to skip this weekend then. D'Oh!
It won't be long now. I'm almost certain of it...

Not bad, deadpan. Wuddun mate.
I'll post a couple this weekend.
A couple? C'mon mate; we want 'em all!Anything you're able to share will be very much appreciated, klarts.

That's weird. My Pod HD 500X had only 1.2ms latency. The Atomic Amplifire had even only 0.8ms.
I can live with the latency of the Kemper. But I avoid the loop because of the double conversion (and thus double latency).
I had the HD500. The 500X had, I think, double the CPU power and was released 'cause folks complained that they couldn't employ enough FX blocks. In dual-amp configuration you pretty much had to forget about FX altogether.I'm betting that the latency of your unit was way better than that of the bog-standard 500.
That Atomic Amplifire spec is impressive, workingtitle. Wow! Thank you for sharing that.

And Ingy is perfect for me.
Phew! That puts an end to several months of feeling guilty that I didn't seek your permission, Ingy. Thanks mate.
Have you shown the missus this thread? I've a feeling she might be mildly entertained. Besides that, I think she'll feel honoured that you chose to share this with us and that we're all so impressed by and supportive of your relationship.

Peanut Allergy? Cripes! Not even your silver tongue can smooth those peanuts over then. Bummer man.
@jester22, what's the word mate, or is there still no word?
-
I volunteer to fling the poo, and then Freisegler can smooth it over with his silver tongue...

Awesome!
Thank you, John.

How lovely, Ash!
Now we have two Aussies calling him Ingy. I've been meaning to PM him to ask if he minded my term of endearment and to explain that it's the Aussie way to tamper with names thusly. I suspect he already knows this, but I sure hope he doesn't mind.
Cue: Ingy...
Oh, and that'll be 0.7¢ thank you, Ash; I patented that one too.

Thank you for speccing that out, rpl16a!

Interesting thoughts, Dean, and thank you for sharing them, mate!
Hey, hope you're OK; haven't seen you around these here parts for a while and have been wondering how you are...
-
Which of Tim's BE Rigs, John? You didn't say, and there are solo many...
EDIT: Thank you, John!
Update on the unloading thing:
I've given up for now. An afternoon wasted.Hopefully someone might have some suggestions as to what to do.
-
OK, I've been at this for God knows how long now, and I cannot export the Rigs (2) to my USB stick.
I've change my owner's name to my actual name (from Monkey Man), and reflected this in RM, and that all seems to work fine. I erased and reformatted the USB stick in case the name change was the reason for the export's not working, but this has made no difference. At a loss as to what to do now.
As a side-note, even 'though my KPA has just one Rig in it (the first that's to be exported), RM said I had 5. This grew to 6 and now 11 after reloading RM. Each time it prompts me to do the routine to repair damaged Rigs, which I've done in the hope that this would fix the issue. No dice.
This little share was to be my contribution to mankind(!) for the day, so I'm thoroughly-disappointed right now; it's been the most glorious day outside, and almost certainly the last before winter kicks in.
Aarrgghh!

Of course!
