Dang, it's so obvious I overlooked the fact that... we can run profiles of it. LOL
Sure, the chorus will have to remain in the TP DSP for now, but that woody thump can be ours!

Judging by that statement alone, Gianfranco, it sounds as if the OS does a spot of defragging during "normal" shutdown.
Can't log in, Andy.
Tried re-typing PW etc, and allowing auto-fill and "fill pw from http://www.theampfactory.com", but no dice.
Any ideas, mate?
Yeah, a Bobbage Roll™.
Making me hungry...
Sounds absolutely monster through my Mac speaker, Bigb.
Awesome, mate.
Actually, this is the best thing I've heard in a while through this speaker, which is the only one I can listen to forums on. Kudos to Andy too, of course.
Go Sticky!
Yes, thank you for the clarification, Timo!
Much appreciated, mate.
Hey, guys, behave yourselves, will ya? This is not an adult forum!
Don't worry Joe, I'll be watching him like a hawk... with eagle eyes... LOL
Oh well, Monkey see, Monkey doodoo, so I tried re-clicking the button, Ingolf, and woohoo!
Thanks for the tip, mate; if you hadn't mentioned that this was possible I'd have been branded for life... as a silly ape!
How's that done, Ingolf?
I tried changing my mind, but that didn't work...
Yup. It's a silent "Wo", as in, "Whoa-man, hands off! That's eMuff, doodoo... I mean, dude!".
You're a naughty boy, Andy. I'll have to keep a really close eye on you.
I agree, GASbag.
I haven't watched that video in a while (I too watched it plenty of times), but I seem to remember Ethan's mentioning that he'd travelled to the factory in order to create custom / factory presets for the unit. As he scrolled through presets, he kept saying things like, "this one I've been working on", and "this one still needs a little work".
I can't help but wonder what the factories sound like, if indeed what we heard on the video were Ethan's presets (in progress) only...
I do too, Frank.
One of the many strengths of the Kemper that I'm sure we all appreciate is the fact that OS updates don't require revising of presets in any way, including re-saving them.
Beautifully stated, great points, Doug. Bravo, mate!
Well, I was thinking that any (digital) gain would eventually be turned into a tension after the D/A converter, so Master volume being the same the Profiler would output the more current the more gain was set in the 01 domain...
You know what, Gianfranco? The outputs would indeed use a little more juice when cranked up. A teensy, tiny bit more, but more nevertheless, so I believe you're right. I was of course speaking of the digital gain / attenuation within the unit's not being able to use more or less power, and hadn't thought of the analog outs' possible contribution to power drain, so well done mate. An astute observation, IMHO.
More gain = more Leds = more used power when tweaked... (just kidding)
You might have been kidding, but IMHO this is also a valid observation, aehaem.
This before / after question is exactly why I said I was confused.
I too ask, "What difference does it make, and if none, then shouldn't we just ignore / forget about this?"
Ha ha Andy. Thanks bro'.
OK, I won't talk about your muff then, but I'll be watching it... I mean, your progress, like a hawk, mate...
Well, I have suspected that certain global parameters such as global equalizers were changed by a previous user or in a music store, making the unit sound weird and bad.
Now you have reset those.
Aah, thank you Christophe; this resetting of parameters that had been adjusted without Duncan's being aware of it was the first thought I had, but I suspected data corruption because the symptoms didn't sound like anything I could explain this way.
It's a pity we're not able to hear samples of the "before and after" situation.
Oops... I meant to hit the quote button but clicked "like" instead.
My bad. My very bad!
... It's as though you keep looking over your shoulders and the only way to make yourselves feel good is to constantly tear down anything that isn't yours.... It's one thing to have an opinion it's another to be so insecure that you do nothing but spend your days on a forum making up stuff about competitors...
Hmm... not sure where to start here.
Could it just be a simple matter of our owning a superior product? I wonder. Ultimately, one has to be better than the other when it comes to amp modelling; they can't both be equally accurate, can they? The Axe's FX are of high quality and are deeply editable, whereas the Kemper's are more utilitarian and useable "out of the box", so on the FX front, either could win depending upon what the user's after. IMHO, the Kemper however occupies its own space in rare air above all other comers when it comes to reproducing the sophisticated sounds and responses of tube amplifiers.
You may not agree. Fine. Say so by all means. Nobody here would deny you this right, however, you appear to have abused this privilege here:
Fractal has it's fan bois and you have the KKK ( Kemper Kuntz Klub).
The fact that you seem to think it's OK to say this speaks volumes about where you're at and where you're coming from, IMHO.
I could be wrong. You might just be the kindest, most gracious person I've had the honour of stumbling across. Then again, could I be justified in venturing towards forming an initial impression about what your motives might be? Given I've not had much to go by thus far, perhaps you could enlighten me, "skank".
