I'd love to see a multi-band compressor / limiter. I'm a bass player and while I find the built in compressor okay, I just can't get the same results as when I use the TC Electronic Spectra Comp or a similar device. It would be so cool not have to have this one pedal in front of the the Kemper. Also I'm getting a weird sound the moment there is a crossover of the noise gate and the compressor. It's not loud, so no problem live, but I can definitely hear it on recordings when playing ballads.

I've just done 4 Profiles of the Ashdown CTM 300 Tube Head!
You can find it in Rig exchange, just search for "HannesVC"Tell me if you like them
Can you tell me if you used a DI between head and cabinet or is it a XLR DI Out of the Ashdown itself?
-
Any update on that? I do like the mentioned profile but it's quite boomy.

LOVE the Ashdown CTM300 Profiles by HannesVC!

Dude, the more I play them, the more I love them - thank you so much for sharing! That CTM 300 seems to replace my own profiles...

I really enyou the "Ash CTM 300_2".... with the active on (on my fender american deluxe jazz bass) I can easly grid/distort the sound like a real tube amp....
And this cTM 300 is the same used by the bass player from Biffy Clyro, a band that I like a lot...
Same here, No 2 is my favourite! Thanks and thumbs up!

There are good hints in the comments of the link you posted. I'd try Marshall and Bassmans or the good Ampeg ones... also had great results with turning off the Speaker of some profiles.

Ownhammer just released their Ampeg Bass Cabinet Multi-Speaker IR Collection. I would highly suggest trying these with this profile. It should sound great together.
Bought this although I missed the special offer. I have to say it's quite overwhelming... so many options. It'll take some time to get through all of them.

Anyone?
It would be the perfect solution for IEM, except I can hear the AUX in the cab.
-
Not really sure about that but I think I read somewhere that the Kemper shuts off for a few seconds when the level of volume is too much to handle at 4 Ohms.
I know it's not a HLF, but Ampeg has at least 5 different cabinets with 8 Ohm to offer.
I think I'd go for the safest route. -
Depends on what sound you prefer: For a clean pumpin' tone like Marcus Millers, use a clean amp... I've read about Avalon profiles, I dig the Aguilar Ton Hammer without AGS (it's in the Bass Pack). I also got good results with turning the Amp off at all and then using the Studio EQ and Compressor.
If you prefer it rough or dirty, do what paults said: Use one of the SVTs. You can also use any amp you like and the experiment with the gain knob.
Hope it helps!

Hi there,
is it possible to handle the Auxiliary Input separately for Headphones and Speaker Out?
Aux -> Main is set to 0, but when I turn up Aux -> Headphones the MP3 can be heard ever so slightly through my cab and I definitely don't wan't that to happen on Stage. I surely am missing something, am I not?
I'm thankful for your help,
Cheers!

If anybody knows someone with this amp in or around Berlin I will pack my mics and go to there with my Rack.

Thanks for your comments guys,
I will definitely upload it as soon as I get my head around the Rig Manager. As for the 2db increase: You can just switch off the Studio EQ in the FX Slot and have the Original profile. I understand your point from a studio perspective. All I wanted to do is to have the profile as spot on as possible and that did it for me. I play a passive Jazz Bass that sounds great with a little more low end.
Gonna check out the Rig Manager know,
See ya!

Hi Guys,
I'm new to the world of Kemper and a proud owner of a Rack since yesterday. Wuhu!
I wanted to share my first profile with you guys... I own a Microbass Vintage Deluxe by Darkglass Electronics. It's Serial Number 100 but unfortunately starts humming like a real amplifier after a few minutes of playing. So I thought this would be a great opportunity to do my first profile.
You can see the settings I choose in the attached picture. I think the profile sounds 95% the same, a little less bottom end (which I compensated by adding EQ (2db at 50Hz) and a very little less Overdrive. Anyway, have fun with it and please let me know if you like it!

I would also love this feature!

I've had this a couple of times, the way I have found that gets round it most times is to insert the USB stick into the KPA and wait about 30 seconds before trying to kick-off the update. seem to let the KPA fully load the USB especially when there are…
Cheers mate! I had the same issue and this did it for me.
