There is no 100% accurate tone stack when profiling. Depends on so many factors, the microphone(s) used to profile being an important ingredient.

No offense, but I hope not. Pete Thorn, sure man!!!
What's wrong with Tim Pierce? He's a great player.
And I mentioned it because of this: -
Next one mght be a Tim Pierce pack.

As a reverb nerd I have compared Line6 and Axe fx spring reverb to many pedals, software and the real deal spring amp and separate fender spring tube tank. Neither of Line6 or fractal comes close to the better pedals and software and certainly not close to the real deal. The most realistic and best way to get spring reverb from software for recoding is to use an IR loader software with an impulse response taken from a real spring tank. All other reverb types are easier to create in a realistic way, spring reverb has very specific characteristics that are difficult to model, it must also respond in the correct and musical dynamic way when pushed hard.
Have you tested Universal Audio AKG BX 20 and Strymon Flint?
I did compare the Flint with my vintage Twin and it sounds quite good. Different of course, but convincing. I often leave the reverb of the Twin off because it's temperamental and use the Flint and I'm pretty hapy with the result.
The UAd AKG spring reverb is lush and sounds amazing with Kemper cleans. -
StudioSlip cover for my Mission Gemini amp. I Chose the Clamshell version in brown, with custom made openings at the rear to have access to the connectors.
In the making as we speak, so no pictures yet. -
What is this Voodoo you speak of? I can plug in a keyboard? Did I miss this in the manual?
Send me a message kind sir and fill me in!Thanks so much!!
Ash was talking about a computer keyboard of course.

While I was not one of the many here who were hoping so diligently for an editor, I would have liked to see a demonstration of the new verbs.
Such a demonstration would have given me an idea of when it would be out in a release (say this year).
Without such a demonstration, I feel that a major update to the Kemper line is underway ..... but we won't hear any official word on this for another year or even two.
I suspect that the existing KPA will receive an update to the verbs as this has been alluded to more than one time and has been confirmed again this year, and it is likely that the rig manager will be updated to include some new features as well (hopefully preset management).
I still love my kemper. I can see it being my go-to rig for another 10 years. I will admit though that I am disappointed with NAMM.
I do trade shows for my company all the time. You don't say "nothing is coming soon" ..... ever. You say that you are taking user suggestions and determining the content of the next major release at this time and that you expect an announcement after the show in (fill in the blank quarter).
The KPA is a great product. I think the marketing at NAAM was handled pretty badly.
I agree.
Quite unprofessional for the manager of a reputable company to say" we don't have anything new to show/tease/announce" at such a big event. That, and you don't drink during the show, but after.
Sorry if I offend any Kemper staff, but that's my opinion.
This Anderton quick video was really bad marketing for the company. -
There's an acoustic guitar in one of the FB pictures. Might have to do with the latest firmware addition (added: third instrument Acoustic beside Guitar and Bass).
They will probably put the emphasis on acoustic profiles, maybe a new acoustic rig pack. And maybe something acoustic different from guitars, who knows? -
WOW!!!!! That's so nice of you to say that. Thank you so much.
I'm just a bedroom guitar player but I do like to do these youtube videos. Its nice to have feedback someone other than my wife and kids. lolThanks again Netheravon
"bedroom guitar player". LoL
You're amazing John!!! -
My profiles are only partially free, because I use MBritt cab. At the end of my work I will try to replace this cab with others free on rigmanager and if the result will be equally satisfying, then I will share it here.
Please let us know which MBritt cab you used since some of us already bought many MBritt profiles.

I had the same issue a while ago. Can you still play and hear your kemper while the unit is frozen?
See my post here:
Kemper freezes in perf mode -
Thanks for that tip squarehead. I had forgotten about that feature.
-
What are the three leds below the tuner on the remote for? One of them being solid green all the time.

My xmas present (best wife ever!!!).

Ok, thanks, the Remote isn't using MIDI by the way!
ah right. This is a RJ45 (or CAT5 not sure of the difference) cable.
-
I any case you should upgrade to 5.4.1 Release or better stick to 5.3.1 Release for critical applications.
How do your navigate through those Performances? Via MIDI?
Yes via the Remote.

I have to say, one of the best clean profiles I have in my collection. W'land 6 Studio with my SVL Tele and my Mission Gemini 2... Heaven sound. With a Kemper GreenScream added it sounds great, with my Analog Prince of Tone in front it's simply sublime.
Very impressed.
Thank you Marcus! -
I can't reproduce the freeze right now. weird. Not sure which rig I selected when the freeze happened.
Will keep an eye on the procedures listed above.
