Setup almost complete. Waiting on my AMT EX-50. Future updates will include a patch pannel on the front or back for outputs. Possibly a M5 or H9 in the effects loop, but so far kemper effects are rocking.

Been checking out the Helix in the last week, plus, a few of my Kemper customers also checked it out, full time pro players who've been gigging with the Kemper for a while now.
It looks magnificent, but we have nothing to worry about, don't waste your money...it's a no contest.
It catches everyone's eye because it is flashy and looks very nice. The sounds totally do not compare. However I would consider using it going into a guitar amp for effects, but don't need to do that since the Kemper does it all.

Hey all,
Made a short video test today for those interested in how the Helix sounds using multiple guitars. The aim was to see how well it kept the original guitars tone as a common complaint of Line 6 gears has been that they make all guitars pretty…
Interesting video, thanks for sharing!.....Your Love Never Fails.

Man, do I love these profiles! Not only are they brilliant for live use, but they record perfectly.
Here are the Pink Taco and Friedman Brown Eye profiles. The only effect I used is the phone filter on the intro/breakdown rhythm tracks.
Wow does sound great!

Welcome
Congrats on buying what might be your last amp.
I hope so and my wife says so lol

Paul, Welcome to the family and enjoy your new tone monster, from another Paul from Michigan, but I was born in Sanford, Fla
Yep I go to Sanford every now and then, I also used to live there about 10 years ago.

@Feinberger yeah that was me, I profiled my scarlett 30 running pretty clean using a Palmer PGA-04 speaker emulator.
I am using that Bad Cat tonight....sounded really nice. Sitting in the mix next to a Michael britt profile! Nicely done.

Hi
Has anyone got, commercial or free, any Jackson Ampworks profiles? The Britain 4, Atlantic 4 or the MacFly in particular?all the best
Someone gave this to me on here, I haven't had a chance to play with it a ton yet. Jackson Scarlett 30

I would also recommend downloading the Reference Manual. The manual that comes with the Kemper is a good "getting started" manual. The Reference Manual is a free download, and you can just google "Kemper Reference Manual" and it'll pop up (it's a PDF, by the way). It'll give you everything you ever wanted to know about the Kemper and then some. Thanks for all the input! I still need to check out Petes AC30. I have the morgan and yes love that clean chimmy sound. Someone here gave me a Jackson and a Bad Cat. I haven't tweaked the Jackson yet, but the Bad Cat is sitting right next to a Michael Britt Profile and sounds great. I yesterday I was bored so I downloaded the Reference Manual and started reading it. For sure a lot of stuff in it.

welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy it. - you have a nice set of guitars! : )
Thanks the only thing missing for me is a Telecaster.....one day.

Are you referring to the 3rd power or the 3P dreamweaver clean? If you're referring to the 3P BF NEWEST *-profile, that's one of my new favorites as well.
Well actually, 3P Dreamweaver is a 3rd Power amp. I like that sound too, but I like the British Dream more.
-
but for me nothing equals Pete's commercial 65' AC30 (okstrat). what are your guitars ?
I have an Anderson Crowdster Plus 2, Duesenberg Starplayer TV, Custom Fender Strat w/ Dimarzio Area 58's and 61
The Kemper fits right into my Green theme...

Michael, you ever consider doing just a 3rd Power Mini pack? Also which pack would you suggest for me? I like a clean sound with break up when you strum hard. I am an EL84 guy that likes, Vox AC30, Matchless, Dr. Z, 3rd power British Dream, Jackson Ampworks Britian 30/Scarlett 30, and Surh Badger.......looking forward to that Z Wreck profile as well.

Hey everyone, my KPA just arrived yesterday (I had a long night didn't get home till like midnight, so I opened it up this morning before heading off to work ). My name is Paul from Orlando, FL (small town Oviedo, FL).
Looking forward to digging into this thing and of course getting some Michael Britt Profiles. Is anyone has any suggestions on which pack to get please let me know. I am an EL84 type of guy. Run my amps clean with a little crunch when I play harder. I love Vox AC30's, Jackson Ampworks, Matchless amp, Suhr Badger, 3rd power British dream, and Dr. Z. I really want some nice Matchless profiles.
Anyway really excited and I look forward to digging into the unit and future discussions on this forum.

[quote='MrMan',
It really depends on the width of the expression pedal and where the output jack is. The Remote is a little more than 16.5 inches wide so it'd be a really tight fit on a Metro 20 unless you get a small pedal. I prefer the flat Pedaltrain boards when using a tiered controller like the Remote.[/quote]Well thanks for you help, I liked your board so I ordered the Pedaltrain Metro 24, just 1 AMT EX-50 expression pedal, and an SKB 4U Roto Rack. Sadly I will probably get all that before my Kemper arrives....

I am getting the same expresion pedal you have. The AMT, just picked on up for $101 brand new off Reverb.com. Today is the last day to get one for $119 plus 15% off.

Thanks for that, might just get a regular midi controller footswitch, not what I would call good business sence from the makers of KPA
Unless you don't care about programming I would strongly suggest to wait for one to come in stock. However if programming midi doesn't bother you it would save you some money. They were in stock last week, I guess they sold out this week. They will make more.

Can anyone tell me why I don't seem to be able to buy a KPA foot controller unless I buy it with a profiler, advertised on GAK but says discontinued, Andertons,PMT ETC bundle only, this surely can't be right!
Kemper store - https://shop.kempermusic.us/ke…iler/profiler-remote.html
I guess it is out of stock right now.

here you go https://drive.google.com/open?…bQyJW0RvajY2xKR2JUajdLNzQ
Thanks man! I don't have my Kemper yet (should be here in about two weeks hopefully less), but I am starting to collect profiles.....Profile hoarding.

I can send him the profile
Could you send me the profile? My friend has a Jackson Britian 30 and I plan to profile that once I get my Kemper.
