I have small feet (8 UK) But also have to waer slim shoes
As I remember, you have to select the bottom area Where the effect parameters are , before M works.
Thank you. I like number 2 best.
I bought a "Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder FRSB" last week which has also the sustainer.
The blue one was only 799€ (other colors from 1050€).
Especially like the one without Pedals, just the amp.
I thought there was a Profile of a patch cable on rig exchange.
But i do not find it any more

COPY and PASTE Buttons (N/A)
In case you miss the COPY and PASTE buttons that you know from the other PROFILER variants, there is good news: The PROFILER Stage offers a clipboard, too!
You can copy and paste any module (A-D, Amplifier, Cabinet, X-REV) as well as the entire stack section. When a module is in focus, hold its button again for two seconds to open the copy/paste screen. For the stack section, press both AMPLIFIER and CABINET buttons to enter the stack section and then hold both buttons again for two seconds.
Following the same principle in Performance Mode, you can also copy and paste complete Slots by holding the RIG button for two seconds.
Use this copy and paste function to grab a module and copy its data to another similar location. For example, you can copy and paste the settings of one module to another, either within the same Rig, or another Rig entirely. To do this, first open a module, hold its button again for two seconds, then select “Copy” on the screen. Next, select and open a destination module, press its button again, holding it for two seconds, then select “Paste”. Voilà!
✓ Once you have performed the paste, the most recent contents of the clipboard are still retained until the unit is powered off, so you are free to continue pasting them as many times as you like.
In general, you can use common sense to determine whether the PROFILER will let you copy settings from one module to another. For example, you cannot copy the reverb settings to the amp module. However, it is possible to copy/paste content between effect modules A, B, C, D, X, MOD, DLY and REV. Go ahead and try whatever you want - you will be alerted if what you're attempting is not possible.
if you search for author "paults" in rig manager you will find some nice synth sounds
Effect volumes belong to their effects. Consequently, if the Mix of an effect is at 0% or the effect is switched off, its effect volume has no effect.
I also thougt ist Must behave like this, but it does not with the studio eq. I have a post on this
wrbi : why not a standard volume pedal in front of the imput?
i will Not use a volume Pedal in the Input very often.
So i would like to Share my wah pedal .
I also Built a Pedal That sends midi to Control the Monitor volume
But it would be nice if i could do it all in the kemper.
I also would like to have a second volume pedal which i could place at the input for a swell.
I use my volume currently for monitor output to adjust levels and have it locked.
I thought that if the mix parameter is set to 0, it's the same as having the equalizer off.
But if I have mix at 0 and change the volume it still has an effect.
Rig Manager 220.127.116.1165
Profiler Stage 18.104.22.168756
i did some more research.
i added a RCA Connector to my prototype
i connet it to the input of this cheap digital to analog converter.
The Output of the coverter i connect to the effects loop return of the Kemper.
When i am switching to a preset for the variax, i engage the loop and switch from normal Guitar to variax.
With this few parts i can connect the variax with only one cable.
I also did an update to the preset list
you can still access the factory settings (Programs 61 and above) after overriding the settings with your own guitar models/tunings.
you have to be a registered user of the line6 forum to download this file
Found the Model-list at
edit: sorry, this is not the excel file where i copied the model list. at the moment i don't find the original post, but this file can be interesting too.
and added the pgm numbers as they are sent from the Kemper
i found a post at VGuitarForums
it looked very easy to build a converter to control the Variax via MIDI.
in the post is written that you have to send a SysEx wakeup call to the variax before sending MIDI Program canges.
But my Variax 300 understand the command without sysex.
i only had to connect pins 4 and 5 of the MIDI Socket to pin 7+8 of the RJ45 Socket and it works.
In addition i use a power supply (9V DC) at pins 1+2 of the RJ45 to power the variax.
this little prototype works fine.
Now i can use different Guitar Models on my variax without doing complicated switching on the guitar.
I only have to switch to another performance slot.
if anyone is interested i can post a list with the Guitar Models on the Variax and their corresponding program Numbers.
good luck for you
