did you have to configure the vonets device or just plug it into the kemper and make a wifi connection from the ipad with the default password?

.....
I am holding off the tp-link because I would prefer the power supply on the tenda (the tenda uses a kettle mains cable like the kemper so I can get an adapter to power both) the tp-link uses a wall wart adapter which requires a socket (more space used up in the back of the kemper)
Maybe you could buy a separate power supply (i am thinking about that). and you could eventually power the wifi devicee with PoE https://www.omg.de/ubiquiti-ne…u-usb-ins-3af-usb/a-14504

Sorry, I haven't tried it yet. I was holding off as there is a rumour that the kemper team are going to test out a few different options. The thing I'm hoping for is powering everything from USB on the kemper, but to be honest I don't think it will happen.
However, (no guarantees), I'm pretty good with networking etc. and I have a very high expectation that it would work.
Here is a cheaper option for powering POE through a router for only £25
And for wireless this is £30 and really tiny
The wifi access point is incredibly small and needs no power other than from the other box.
At the moment, this looks like the most efficient/cheapest setup with only one power supply needed, plus uses the remote and wifi.
The only thing that would be better is if the kemper crew can find something that works with USB power from the kemper, but it seems unlikely to me.
Also, you only need both of those devices if you want to use the remote and the ipad app at the same time.
The Tenda Tef1105P-4-63W did not power my remote. maybe it supports only PoE mode B.
Now i ordered a TP-Link TL-SG1005P as it works for nottoohigh .
The Mikrotik mAP lite is really tiny, but after two hours trying to set it up i decided to send it back.i now ordered the usb powered device https://amzn.to/3gSp3CA that works for Allenhuish . I hope configuring will be easyer with this one.

I've had a think and you could use a powered switch (same as a router and cheaper) like this one:
It looks like it will fit in the back of the toaster, but requires a mains supply
£30 on Amazon uk
and then add a small wifi access point powered by poe (from that switch), something like
did you try this?
Or does someone else know if this will work?
This would be a cheap solution and it will fit inside my rack together with the toaster

V30 and sometimes Creamback

can anyone comment-
if using a poe device, the brief outage as a resukt of a dodgy rj45 connector on the kpa is restored quicker than without a poe unit? I.e., retaining power to the remote keeps it “alive” or is it a case it that restoring communication is the time consuming part of the process?
Interesting point, as i have the Same Issue

Maybe the Kabinet won't sound good with the quad cortex as the cone is designed only for use with KPA in Kone mode.

After spending hours and hours in Rig excahge and lots of € with commercial profiles i found my one and (nearly) only Profile
GODI JTM 50 BF Full
i (sometimes) use it with the FULL OC to push it a bit more. With the Volume knob and different pickups on my Ibanez AZ2204 i get lots of great tones. -
Wow ?
I wish i could play like that

So it will be best to place a small router in the rack with the toaster.
What Hardware will be needed to connect Remote, Toaster and WiFi at once?
i would like to buy those parts in advance, to be ready when the App is released.
Maybe Kemper Company will offer a compact solution? -
Maybe you can find another Kemper user near to you
-
You can use a second Kemper to make a profile of your tweaked one (with no time based effects)

After struggling with user scales for a while, i had an Idea this night (insomnia).
Showing note names in parenthesis depending on the basic key would make it a lot easier
Here is an example for the Key of F
-
As it is not easy to work with step Numbers instead of Note-Names , especially when trying different base keys, i was searching for an easy way.
Now i created quick and dirty a excel macro that can help.
In A3 you select the basic key with a dropdown field.
In Column D you select the Notres you want to hear, when playing the note in column C.
Press calculate and you get the interval numbers for each step number.i had problems myself on a compuer with libre office.
i had to alow macros in the security settings. Took a longer time to find out, as there was no error message when hitting a button -
+1

I can understand both points of view.
timo Maybe it could be a solution to hihlight in blue if the change is only because of locking, and highlight red for all real changes. -
Strange...
Yesterday i started the KPA in Browse mode with a rig modified before shutdown.
The line was in red, what would be correct.
After that every doublecklick selected the Rig in red.
I tried today. The rig is red after startup, but after doubleclicking everything works fine.
