Have a great New Year everyone!

Got it. Thanks for your input!

So then basically, if we are not profiling, we don't press the merge button at all. Correct? Then you are saying we can't get a 100% authentic sound if it wasn't already profiled by someone? In my previous example, by not pressing the "Merged" button the Fender amp and Marshall cab sound close but not authentic?

Okay, Deadlight, I have been reading all this discussion from a couple of places here on the forum. I think I understand but to be sure, I do have a question. If I have a DI profile of a Fender amp and I add a Marshall cabinet, let's say one of Till's free 1960 cabs, do I press "Merge" in the Cabinet menu or not if I want the most authentic sound possible?

Hmmm... It starts on the bottom light, he steps and it switches to the top. And then on release, goes back to bottom light. And it appears to only be a press on the switch not a complete depression???

This might be headed for the "Feature Requests" topic but I wanted to check with the rest of you to make sure I wasn't just being stupid!
First of all, I have a created subfolder under "Local Library" called, "Purchased" where I put all my purchased rigs so as not to lose them amongst the free rigs in "MyProfilier". Well, accidently while trying to delete a rig I changed in the "Purchased" folder, I deleted the entire folder! But then I thought, no problem, I have a recent backup! I restored the backup file to my KPA and, NO "Purchased" subfolder!
Now, I have the original purchased rigs saved on my PC and was able to copy them all back into a newly created "Purchased" folder but why wasn't that folder in the backup file? Has anyone else experienced this or did I miss something? If not, be forewarned that added folders will not be included in the backup.

I have it with the latest OS.

The bump worked. Got my attention! Nice sound...

Just found this topic. Thanks to the Kemper team for this!

Absolutely! Whenever I try a new rig and it doesn't sound very good, I check the profile data to see what pickups were used. Many times I have found that a profile only sounds good with the pickup type (SC or HB) it was created with and others sound good with no matter what type pickup I use. As you say, they sound different but still good!

Too much information!

That would be them! Thank you for providing a copy...

Yes, maybe I don't understand your problem but if it's the KPA output light that's turning red can't you just turn down the "Volume" level in the bottom right corner of the KPA? Mine is always at 0.0dB but if it's at around +4 dB my output clips (turns light red).

Stores around my area aren't good regarding sound rooms for checking these things Ended up with focal alpha 50's as my space is very small. So far really like them. Kemper sounds really good, profiles I never liked before have really opened up and at sound good.
Good for you! That's all that matters. I have tried some things recommended on the forum and they just don't work for me. Other suggestions have been great. We all have different environments we play in so find one that works for you the best...

Some nice sounds there! I can't wait for the demo rigs...

Very nice waraba!

Either way, welcome to the group!

Yes, please. Can anyone share this profile?
