I thought that too, but it really is ok. I would however, always stick to a backup policy and when deleting profiles from the Kemper, do it directly and not by Rig Manager, since this can save a lot of time.

Sorry you´re gone mate! Maybe you´ll be back one day...

Thanks everybody for your help.
I downgraded to Rig Manager 1.3.5 but it keeps giving the msg "Rig Manager needs to be updated. For more information, please point your browser to: http://www.kemperamps.com/start" so I am forced to upgrade my Rig Manager and, consequenty, my OS. I just hope that the new one hasn't big bugs.
Because I work with my profiles, I don't like to risk, I'll go for the System USB stick backup before upgrading.
Your help was really precius.
This community is unbelievable
DanieleYeah! I find the Kemper community very supportive too. Cheers to us!

Welcome Nikos
Pretty sure the Profiler will give you great satisfactions. Just let me say tho that it's weird you're going to spend 2,000 on a unit w\o even knowing what it does!
As for the output, another option would be to use the return of your guitar amp with a passive Profiler
If you look among my threads you'll find a first-use tutorial I posted here. It might guide you through your first hour with the Kemper
@viabcroce I think that introduction you wrote Gianfranco was very good! It´s always good to get a fresh viewpoint on things.

deleting the rigs on the profiler from Rig manager takes ages (sync) , it's much faster to delete from the profiler with 'erase all but favorites' if I recall well .
Deletion takes ages, and so does importation...
Still, better to be able to start from scratch than have an itch that you are not able to scratch @rgolenberg

Yeah, welcome from sunny Munich! With a powered toaster, your in the lucky position not to have to worry about power on stage.
The question you might want to ask yourself is whether you want a trad cab or FRFR.
-
@nikosssb I have AKG K702s.
They are reasonably flat too. I have very good soundproofing and prefer however to listen through a Matrix FRFR cab. -
In my opinion the absence of pedals on the remote makes it easier for you to choose your own configuration.
You can also choose your price, quality, colour, throw... etc...
I have a Mission, which I find quite adequate.

Well both my knobs are screwed somehow... Oh, and welcome! @Kassu
Semi irom alá (I´m not signing that either)

Bored?

you could lower your guitars output level by lowering your pickup height.
This could also result in less string-pull and a longer, smoother level- decay of the strings.hth
I talked to Matthias Jabs about that Yesterday evening. I have his stage Mastercaster that I understand he used to record "Winds of change"... I said the neck pickup was too hot and he said I should lower it to reduce the gain and get more clarity and sustain because the strings would resonate for longer. I´ve just tried it and it does make a difference.

@ChrisKelsall Yeah!
1st. welcome! 1a. RTFM
2nd. Get an FRFR cab.
3rd. The Rig Manager can help in finding profiles made by other users, but the factory ones are really good too.
4th. Just add a guitar and go for it!!!!!!!!!!

I like my Matrix FR212 run through my Powered Toaster. Even at 16 Ohms it delivers 300 Watts RMS...
-
You might even consider contacting the guys at Matrix - very friendly, down to earth and practical.

This is the FR10 run from a Kemper. I guess you might have seen this one @RedGuitars ?
I have the FR212, which is quite good, even running at 16 Ohms from a Kemper Powered Toaster.

@db9091 then you should try my Mastercaster... FR tuner, swamp ash body, mahogony neck, carbon rosewood fretboard, over size Gibson frets, Dommenget pickups bridge and neck and reverse phase funkstrat. It was Matthias Jabs´ (Scorpions) stage guitar until about 2004 - signed but no number - Nice... ! I dithered for two weeks before buying it but am so pleased I did take the plunge. When he´s in Munich I pop by and ask him what the hell he´s doing in his store and you know what - he asks me the very same thing -dang!

Nice guitar @Slaytallica ! I've got a PRS 408. I find PRS guitars have a really great action and a fine tone range.
Enjoy! -
ok. "rubbing salt into wounds" + having language translation filter "acrimony and irritation" ON + criticising Kemper profiler for not having the essential feature required by the OP and effectively calling it not in keeping with the technical requirements of 2016 = creating an atmosphere which is not conducive to positive discussion, and genuinly irritating as evidenced by the many comments on this thread. People who are happy with what they have invested time, money and emotional energy in don´t take kindly to someone who attempts to repeat the same ol´ c*a* that they have posted on a previous thread. Suggest closure of this thread once and for all. PEACE
