His last comment that he was going to buy an axe thingy was totally unnecessary IMHO. It's just like rubbing salt into wounds and as far as I'm concerned something a Kemper user would not do on the Axe forum unless really and directly provoked.

@PETERFR thanks. Feeling much better already. Maybe it was the dancing girls st list night's Brazilian restaurant who helped most of all...

Hey and welcome! The Rig Manager´s the way to go with the mac... Enjoy!
I´m so enthralled by the Kemper I´m taking 1200mg Ibuprofen just so´s I can still play after a trail biking accident today. What a mess, but after 3 calvados I can still hit the note! Stay cool and groove brother!

No probs!
Keep rockin' -
You are correct!
You can assign more. But only two are visible.@Sharry It shows that the Kemper has hidden depths... but also that all is fathomable... 'scuse the pun my friend...
-
Thank you Peterfr for quick response!
Does it mean, if I connect the Kemper with PC, as you wrote, that I will be able to hear the preview sounds/rigs in rig manager?
ZD
@Zdenaale yes, just double click on the rig and you should get a headphone icon showing to the left of the rig line. You should also see an indication in bold on the Kemper profiler display that it's a preview sound.
Happy browsing! -
With the remote you can asign only 2 stomps to one button (not 5).
@Sharry my friend this is not correct.
Only the first two stomps colours are shown, but you are not limited to 2 stomps per button (siehe Seite 17 §1 Kurze Anleitung: "Auch wenn einem Effekt-Taster in einem Rig drei oder mehr Schaltfunktionen zugewiesen sein sollten, werden durch die LEDs nur die Zustände der ersten beiden Schaltfunktionen signalisiert") ... -
@Sharry Sorry my friend, I meant Rome was not built in a day... Things like this might take time to change, especially if others don't have the same opinion or don't think that there's a problem. I have no further comment to make on the matter. I'll get my coat...

@drog Nice guitars and the Fender amp's a beauty, but where's the Kemper?
-
gracie, thanks for pointing that out. Appreciate it, was only making a proposal.
@Sharry hey Dude, lighten up! Anyways,I think @nightlight s proposal was good for a workaround. Why does everyone take things so personally? after all, Rome wasn´t built in a day, and we all have along way to go...

Welcome! (and ditch the girlfriend - time's important for this little beasty)
Oh, and don't forget to play the Blues - it goes with the territory...

hi there. never introduced myself, just as that's not reaaaallly of importance... but to be polite and not to blather:
i use a KEMPER RACK for a bit beyond a year now, it's powered by a PALMER MACHT 402 specialized guitar power amp, no additional effects, and as remote i prefer my ZOOM g9.2tt to my FCB1010. usually i play my kemper direct to the PA and use 2 small monitor speakers driven by the poweramp to be totally independent from anyone else. i also use SENNHEISER wireless IEM and AKG wireless guitar transmitter... that's it. plug in & play. keep it simple, lightweight, portable. so i do not need 3 kempers for my 3 bands...
obviously i play the guitar, for almost 27 years, i am a singer as well, and if anyone should be interested in what i do: it's http://www.kzngr.de - it's acoustic rock and metali guess that's it...
take care!
@kzngr
The Kemper's a real ace device. You're going to have a lotta fun with her for sure!
Looking at your awesome rig, I hope you have a rock music friendly neighbourhood, or some kick-ass soundproofing!!!!! And all the more so after having heard your sound!!!!

Welcome on board!

Welcome @ColdFrixion !
Are you good at setting up an amp with a mike or series of mikes? That would determine your speed and/or quality bottom line.
It might be first better to get a taste of some commercial profiles or take a look at what provided on the amp exchange. Just a suggestion FWIW...
Anyways, you´ve bought into a great system and you´re in for some fun, period! -
Yes, welcome!
You're going to have some fun if you RT(F)M right from the start."Doe Ray mee fahr so lah tee doe" Oh let's make it easier for you, shall we?
