Somehow all sound like they've been produced using a Casio keyboard - strange harmonics - even when coming though my Neumann studio monitors.

77custom welcome! and yes, the cab structure would influence the tone flatness.
I don't know anyone who might have used speaker replacement as a strategy to create an FRFR using a Marshall cab.
Anyone out there?

Still loving mine absolutely. Not noisy for me even with high gain (I user the Kemper noise gate though...) Only thing I noticed is that the pedal can get warm sometimes.
It´s getting warm because you are putting it through a toaster?!?!
I'm getting a gas buildup just hearing about this pedal.

Frank, I just listen to you in awe... and now I can see how you do it!!!!
Amazing stuff!
One thing, I always imagine your phrase
"Don't forget to put your tooth under the pillow"
as
"Don´t forget to put your TUBE AMP under the pillow".
Macht's gut mien Jung!

4sqbbs, welcome!
My home rig is a powered toaster connected to a Matrix FR212 (FRFR) via the power out.
I also use Neumann KH120A studio monitors balanced output powered by an Apogee Element 24. ( Optical input from Kemper SPIDIF to 2x Lindy Coax to TOSLINK 2-way converter and repeater (1 for return)). Apogee mix interface controlled by iMAC pro. Can go directly to Logic Pro X or to Reason, depending on the genre wanted.
I can highly recommend the Kemper - it delivers.

Ok, I forgot to mention I'm a bit of a nerd... and I eat charcoal dog biscuits for their taste alone...

There's a store in Köln.
They have quite a few, I got mine from there after a recommendation from Anderton´s.
Take care,
Jim.

Try an AKG D7 - very clean and balanced.
I have also used it to profile an H&K with pretty good results.

It´s a Collector´s Choice 59er No. 130 of Gaby. Plays very buttery...
I only hope one day I´ll be able to play her like they used to...

There might be ways of soundproofing your appt.
Egg boxes, padded cell flooring... How to Soundproof Your Home Studio or Rehearsal Space Like a Pro*edited by mod
removed bad advice:
egg boxes might look similar to absorbers, but they serve no acoustic function - except maybe filtering out a very narrow frequency on the 1k-2k range - depending on the box I guess - which only creates more problems*HEY, which mod edited my opinion? Egg boxes are short form for "egg boxes" filled with heavy foam latex, tacked onto bubble pack and backed onto 3-ply.
To whom it may concern, sir / madam you obviously don´t get it - do you? NOW this is the last time I will EVER post on YOUR forum.
You don´t need to ban me, this is voluntary - UNDERSTOOD????
YOU MAKE ME SO VERY ANGRY
I could just PUKE

Hi and welcome back @'drum drum'!
Best thing is to write a ticket if you're not sure. Usually Kemper gives sound advice though ...
Enjoy!
Jim.

Welcome! I know what back pain means!
Nice vids!

That´s great @'Cedrick'.
My shoulder´s back to almost normal now.
I can play guitar, and my mountain bike´s getting out more often now.
I´m going to try a trail along the Isar River this afternoon. I´ll ride right by where I bust my shoulder and broke 6 ribs and just laugh...The moral to it all is DONT OVERDO THINGS (IF YOU CAN STOP YOURSELF)
Take good care of that hand my friend!!!
